Responsibilities

Competent to work at the highest technical level of all phases of application systems analysis, workflow analysis, build, design, testing, interface knowledge and programming activities. Under general direction, formulates/defines system scope and objectives.

Able to work individually, on a team or project teams and can multi-task. May be responsible for completion of a phase of a project or responsible for leading and completing a project. Regularly provides guidance and training to less experienced analysts.

Works with business owners, physicians, clinicians, stakeholders, and IT personnel to assess and develop best practice models. May support implementation and upgrades to clinical and bio-medical applications. Provide weekly status updates on project(s) progress. Position will require travel to KSC clinic locations for implementation, training and support.

Other duties as assigned.

Salary Range: $89,706.40-$117,739.65

(Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc.)

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

(A = basics; B = preferred)

Education

A.

Bachelor's degree or at least 3 years of equivalent relevant work experience

B.

Clinical, or Advanced Degree helpful

Experience

A.

Minimum 3 years experience in applicable healthcare clinical operations, project management, or systems design, implementation, configuration or support

B.

Ambulatory EMR implementation and support experience.

Licenses

A.

Valid Texas Driver's License

B.

Special Skills

A.

Strong ability to define clinical and operating requirements, and translate requirements into clear, specific, actionable system configurations, and ability to implement those configurations. Ability to test and audit personally developed system configurations, in order to assure functional accuracy.

Excellent communication, relationship, teamwork and project management skills. Demonstrably strong conceptual, process and data analysis skills, and in depth understanding of medical practice informatics, clinical and operating data sets. Strong understanding of physician practice operations, and ways improved information management can lead to clinical, operating and financial improvement in a health care organization.

Proficiency in use of desktop computer systems (Windows, Microsoft Office, email) and experience in use of clinical or practice management systems in medical practice. Clear ability to articulate benefit realization personally achieved on previous projects.

Other

A.

Proven communication, presentation, teamwork, project management, problem solving and technical skills are also required. Candidates must have a positive and "can do" attitude. Ability to learn quickly, and to obtain Epic System Certification level (as defined by Epic) and/or other clinical system certifications as required.

B.

Demonstrable knowledge of clinical data sets (CPT, HCPCS, ICD-9, etc).

Responsibilities The Sr Analyst Supply Chain Data and Analytics is responsible for gathering and analyzing complex data sets from purchase order, accounts payable, general ledger and other relevant data to identify and determine operational impact, trends, and track supply chain opportunities. This individual utilizes complex technical tools and applications to track a wide variety of simultaneous work streams; prepare concise status reports, organize, cleanse, and analyze supply chain data and connect from multiple sources as well as identify key performance metrics, cost analysis, PO spend, and opportunities for product standardization. This position will design and produce scheduled reports, dashboards, and other ad hoc requests from the Supply Chain Department. Hospital or Supply Chain experience preferred with 4+ years progressively responsible and directly related work experience including knowledge of supply chain analytics. Knowledge and understanding of goals and the interdependencies of functional teams and groups in the healthcare industry and the ability to lead large-scale complex data projects. ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS: This position will receive direction from the Director of Analytics. Work situations are highly varied, requiring maturity, high degree of attention to detail and independent decision-making. Decisions are subject to the review and approval of the Director of Analytics. Internal contacts include Sourcing Managers, Purchasing Agents, and Director of Operations. External contacts include vendors, suppliers, distributors, manufacturers, outside organizations, consultants, and peers. Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, or closely related field required. B.
