The Purpose:
We are seeking a results-oriented expert with relevant technical skills in modern technologies and financial services industry experience. The associate is required to accelerate projects in NextGen Operations Workstation and related technologies from the idea conceptualization to execution with the help of a team. The associate's key differentiating abilities will be exceptional analytical skills, and an ability to conceive of and develop differentiated solutions for the benefit of Fidelity's Operations Group to more effectively cater to our Customer / Client needs.
As a systems analyst on the team, you will be expected to quickly gain understanding of all the components of our applications and will work with the team to deliver best in class customer experience solutions. The ideal candidate should show ease at making personal connections, be confident in leading and constructively challenging with a dedicated approach to solving problems and overcoming obstacles.
The Expertise You Have:
3-5 years professional experience as a Systems Analyst for software solutions
Proven experience researching, optimizing, developing, and authoring solution requirements, user stories, and specifications for moderate to complex software systems.
Proven experience with Structured Query Language (SQL) and programming in general
Solid understanding and experience with complex relational database schemas and SQL management tools
Proven experience working with REST, SOAP, JSON and APIs
Proven experience with Agile development methodologies
Reverse engineer code to understand business logic and develop prototypes- Excel Macros/Java/Angular
Have good understanding of solution architecture and partner with Architects, Business Analysts, and tech leads.
Have end to end knowledge of system interactions and be able to articulate well to different audiences both technical and non-technical.
Produce artifacts - business flow diagrams.
Prod incidents analysis - Splunk queries, build dashboards/alerts.
Bachelor's Degree Computer Science or related technology discipline
Conduct and coordinate financial, product, market, operational and related research to support business planning
Analyze new sets of data and generate meaningful trends.
Develop consumer behavior study, business proposals, etc.
Conceptualizing, developing, and implementing intuitive and user-friendly interfaces for the various projects/applications that the team undertakes
Creating visualization and data representation models using modern visualization techniques
Help the team to convert concepts into prototypes.

Assist in identification, isolation, resolution, and communication of problems within the production and nonproduction environment and perform troubleshooting.

Self-driven, self-managed, energetic, passionate, and motivated with the ability to work independently to deliver results
A hands-on technologist with an immense desire to learn new technologies, and experiment with these technologies to come up with innovative solutions
Evangelize and promote the successes and learnings of your team in formal ceremonies, such as sprint demos, as well as in casual conversation.
Ability to lead formal and informal presentations in various settings; one-on-one, small, and large groups, with peers, and senior management
Ability to communicate effectively with and to influence team members and external groups
Ability to effectively navigate the organization to achieve outcomes
Proven ability to work on multiple efforts simultaneously, and committed to quality output
Strong analytical skills to research and review existing systems and recommend designs
Experience working with design and testing of APIs, database/SQL, Cloud environments
And other duties as assigned,
Provide recommendations on technical direction to Tech Lead.
Partners with Tech Lead to steer technical decisions on the team.
