Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, mission Senior Systems Administrator in the San Diego area, with strong Customer relationships. The IMS Division provides mission solutions to a wide range of Defense and Intelligence Community customers. This division consists of a team of technical leaders that deliver advanced technical solutions to government organizations. The Senior Systems Administrator will be an instrumental part of a highly technical refresh team in a small to medium enterprise technical refresh project. This is a hands-on position that requires an experienced individual to install, upgrade, patch, and manage software in a Vmware Vsphere environment. The systems administrator will work with MS Server 2012 R2, Windows 10, Microsoft Office 2013/2016, and troubleshoot server hardware. Additional duties include: backups, disaster recovery, Cisco VTC, router and switch updates, and other technology driven solutions in a fast-paced environment.

The systems administrator will conduct hardware and software installation, configuration, and testing to support the enterprise tech refresh.

DISA - Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS)
Vmware Veeam Backup & Replication
Support users and helpdesk during user data and mailbox migrations. This position requires expert knowledge of physical and virtual hardware, software configuration, and troubleshooting.
5-7 years of experience in the Information Technology field, related College degree preferred: Bachelor and/or Master Degree in Computer Science or Information Systems, Systems Engineering, or equivalent experience
4 years of experience with user support and troubleshooting
3 years of experience managing, troubleshooting, and operating various systems in small to medium Microsoft windows environments.
5 years of experience with Microsoft Windows Server and MS Office products
Experience with VMware vSphere
Experience with DISA - Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS) a plus
Experience with Veeam Backup & Replication a plus
MCP, VCA6-DCV or VCA6-DTM certification required
Related IT certifications preferred: Formal Training in Microsoft Systems and Technology environments, MCSA or other related certification preferred.
Current and valid Security+CE certification required
Valid Drivers license and US Passport required
20% Travel required CONUS and OCONUS
Security Clearance Requirements:
Secret Clearance required with future potential upgrade to Top Secret clearance
Requires Bachelor s degree (in Computer Science or related field) or equivalent, and five to seven years of related experience.
