AMS Technologies is seeking a Senior System Administrator to support customer events to include (but are not limited to): tests and evaluations, experimentation, operational and technical assessments, engineering spirals, exercises and training, innovation activities, cyber events, and demonstrations. CAOC-X is an extremely versatile environment, successful candidates need to be ready for a fast paced, ever changing, experimental environment supporting the AOC Weapon System.

AMS Technologies is seeking a Senior System Administrator to support customer events to include (but are not limited to): tests and evaluations, experimentation, operational and technical assessments, engineering spirals, exercises and training, innovation activities, cyber events, and demonstrations. CAOC-X is an extremely versatile environment, successful candidates need to be ready for a fast paced, ever changing, experimental environment supporting the AOC Weapon System.
- The Senior System Administrator is a master in Windows Server Administration and/or Linux Server Administration. Successful candidates have several years of experience building, integrating, managing, and maintaining Windows Servers and/or Linux Servers in operational environments.
- Success candidates have experience with AWS, Microsoft System Center, SCCM, ACAS, HBSS, Cisco IOS, Data Encryption, and COMSEC
- CAOC-X is an extremely versatile environment successfully candidates need to be ready for a fast paced ever changing experimental environmental supporting COTS and GOTs systems and applications in support of the AOC Weapon System.
- Provide installation, loading, and configuration of systems, servers, networks, and virtualized systems.
- Provide system administration expertise to customers for events and other activities.
- Responsible for administration of network, computers, communications systems, including LAN, WAN, and the Core Services [including administration of user accounts, passwords, permissions, access control lists, email, chat and other server or network services]
- Perform client systems administration.
- Maintain virtual environment, servers, and clients, creates monitoring reports, and logs and ensures functionality of all external links.
- Monitor networks, websites, and servers for acceptable performance and user accessibility.
- Establish backups and monitor site security.
- Responsible for configuration management documentation of system topologies
- Responsible for applying security lockdowns on all customer equipment in accordance with DISA, JTF-GNO, and SPO guidance.
- Active Secret with eligibility for Top Secret Clearance
- Bachelor's degree in IT and 5 years of relevant experience or Associate degree in IT and 7 years of relevant experience, or High School and 11+ years of relevant IT experience.
- 5-7 years of experience providing operational and daily support to maintain and manage various systems and networks.
- Certifications and specific skillsets: Windows OS, UNIX OS, ACAS, HBSS
- Understanding of General System Interoperability in a LAN/WAN Environment
- CISCO IOS training
- Security + or equivalent certification is required.
