We seek a Senior System Software Engineer to join the team that brought hardware accelerated game-play recording/broadcasting, automatic highlights capture, and game photography/filters to millions of NVIDIA users.

Within this dynamic and innovative team, you will provide gamers with the ability to generate beautiful renditions of their gaming sessions (what we call "user generated content"), everywhere!

You will build elegant SDKs that enable game developers and publishers to integrate these exciting features in their own applications.

With GeForce NOW (Cloud gaming) and GeForce Experience, you will collaborate with the best engineers in the world shaping NVIDIA's newest visual computing and AI technology into vertical features that amaze and delight users.

What you'll be doing:

  • Developing cross-platform software to support our ever-growing feature set.

  • Working directly with key application developers to craft solutions that they can integrate.

  • Collaborating closely with diverse and geographically distributed teams at NVIDIA such as the user experience, architecture, services.

  • Rapidly prototyping, iterating and experimenting in an Agile mindset.

  • Having flexibility to learn new things, try new technologies, seek opportunities to grow, mentor & be mentored.

What we need to see:

  • 12+ years of software development experience.

  • BS or MS in computer Science or equivalent.

  • Self-starter, ability to learn and work independently.

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.

  • Problem solver with a can-do attitude.

  • Track record of working within a large international team.

  • Hands on experience in one of the following: system-level software, visual computing, multimedia, image/video processing, AI or deep learning, or web technologies.

  • Excellent programming and debugging skills in C/C++/JS.

Ways to stand out from the crowd:

  • Direct experience delivering end-user facing solutions.

  • Experience with NVIDIA features such as Highlights, In-Game Overlay, ShadowPlay.

  • Experience working closely with 3rd party integrators and releasing SDK.

  • Experience with Angular/CEF.

  • Experience with PC, Mac, mobile.

Position Overview Siemens ITS is recruiting for a Senior ATMS Systems Engineer to be part of a growing Engineering team to execute solution projects that will shape the future of transportation in the United States. In this exciting role, you will be focusing on Advanced Traffic Management Systems (ATMS) and Smart Cities solutions. We implement projects and meet customer satisfaction and business goals by applying professional engineering standard methodologies in the ITS industry, so leadership and interpersonal skills, as well as a strong background in traffic and transportation engineering is required to succeed. The position will collaborate with the VP of Bids, Programs and Engineering and will be located in Austin, Texas. Minimum Requirements * Bachelor's degree in Software, Electrical or Traffic Engineering. M.S. degree preferred * 5-8 years of experience in deploying ATMS systems at Traffic Management Centers * Basic understanding of traffic signal control systems, advanced traffic management, adaptive, and CV technology * P.E. license preferred * 50% travel within the U.S * Exceptional technical, communication and interpersonal skills Detailed Responsibilities * Technical lead for ATMS and Central software deployment and integration tasks * Generate project specific technical system design, system architecture, scope definition, and concept of operations to meet/exceed customer requirements together with R&D, Product Management, and other Engineering teams * Provide ITS and Traffic Engineering consulting services to deliver projects based on customer requirements * Active deployment of ITS solutions including controller and central software, adaptive control solutions and connected vehicle (V2I) applications * Troubleshooting of ITS devices such as traffic signal controllers, detection devices including loops, microware, radar and video * Configure Road-Side and On-Board units for CV deployment projects * Ensure accurate filing/storage of engineering documentation- i.e. drawings, version history, scope documents * Understanding and work with regulating authorities, code requirements, and other industry-specific factors * You will work with different internal departments (Sales, Project Management, R&D, Product Management, Procurement, Legal and Field Operations) Why Siemens?
