We are looking for a Senior System Management Engineer to support our government customer. We are seeking a Site Lead with a strong technology background.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • The LLC Site Lead functions as a project manager for an Information Technology (IT) team in the planning, analysis, design, implementation, and support of web-based e-learning solutions that incorporate Army level solutions (such as Enterprise Authentication Management System - Army [EAMS-A] authentication; The Army's Distributed Learning Program [TADLP]; and Army Training Information System [ATIS]) into a Lifelong Learning solution based on the best technologies available

  • Lead day-to-day operations of multi-million dollar task order to provide support and maintenance for Blackboard used by over 40 US Army Schools.

  • Direct expert level technical services and support for the Army Training Support Command Lifelong Learning Center (ATSC LLC) Program

  • Manage teams of System Engineers, Programmers, Blackboard Subject Matter Experts and Help Desk Analysts

  • Lead consolidation of LLC Blackboard services from separate installations to an enterprise datacenter, while minimizing downtime and ensuring all stakeholder requirements are met

  • Lead projects involving integrations between various US Army information systems

  • Create and manage the distribution of Standard Operation Procedures and User Policies

  • Ensure that all security regulations are adhered to and communicated to cross functional teams

  • Recommend, plan and manage Blackboard customizations to meet proponent requirements

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Information System Management from an accredited college or university

  • 10+ years of experience with Information System Engineering or Management

  • Experience with web-based learning solutions

  • Experience with Army Enterprise Systems preferred

  • Military experience is preferred

  • Security+

  • Secret Clearance

REQUIRED EDUCATION

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Information System Management from an accredited college or university

REQUIRED SECURITY CLEARANCE

  • Active DoD Secret clearance

Learn more about this agency Responsibilities As a Lead Emergency Management Specialist, you will: * Serve as the principle facilitator for CDC to coordinate the Agency's preparedness program in collaboration with external Federal agencies and internally within CDC to continuously improve planning, training and exercising readiness of CDC to enhance the agencies ability to respond to any event through effective planning, adequate responder training and conducting response exercises to build and assess response capabilities. * Oversee the development, maintenance and implementation of emergency response operational plans, protocols, standard operating procedures (SOPs) and guidance that provides an effective, organized, coordinated and orderly Agency response to public health incidents. * Provide direction and management to effectively coordinate with CDC Subject Matter Experts to develop comprehensive emergency response procedures for all-hazards events, including the 15 National Planning Scenarios and other bioterrorism, technological, man-made, natural and environmental disasters. * Possess expert knowledge of and demonstrated skills in federal, state and local planning, the Incident Command System (ICS), the National Incident Management System (NIMS), the National Response Framework (NRF) and it's associated Annexes and other federal interagency policies, guidance and procedures. * Design, develop and evaluate a variety of exercises to prepare CDC for effective response to any event. Using the Preparedness Cycle and the Homeland Security Exercise Evaluation Guidance, the incumbent must be able to determine the appropriate Agency response requirements, lead exercise planning conferences and meetings with representatives from across CDC, develop appropriate exercise materials, distribute in a timely manner and train the response plans to the participants. * Perform other duties as assigned.
