We are looking for a Senior System Management Engineer to support our government customer. We are seeking a Site Lead with a strong technology background.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • The LLC Site Lead functions as a project manager for an Information Technology (IT) team in the planning, analysis, design, implementation, and support of web-based e-learning solutions that incorporate Army level solutions (such as Enterprise Authentication Management System - Army [EAMS-A] authentication; The Army's Distributed Learning Program [TADLP]; and Army Training Information System [ATIS]) into a Lifelong Learning solution based on the best technologies available

  • Lead day-to-day operations of multi-million dollar task order to provide support and maintenance for Blackboard used by over 40 US Army Schools.

  • Direct expert level technical services and support for the Army Training Support Command Lifelong Learning Center (ATSC LLC) Program

  • Manage teams of System Engineers, Programmers, Blackboard Subject Matter Experts and Help Desk Analysts

  • Lead consolidation of LLC Blackboard services from separate installations to an enterprise datacenter, while minimizing downtime and ensuring all stakeholder requirements are met

  • Lead projects involving integrations between various US Army information systems

  • Create and manage the distribution of Standard Operation Procedures and User Policies

  • Ensure that all security regulations are adhered to and communicated to cross functional teams

  • Recommend, plan and manage Blackboard customizations to meet proponent requirements


  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Information System Management from an accredited college or university

  • 10+ years of experience with Information System Engineering or Management

  • Experience with web-based learning solutions

  • Experience with Army Enterprise Systems preferred

  • Military experience is preferred

  • Security+

  • Secret Clearance

You will primarily be responsible for integrating, operating, and maintaining multiple systems to detect aerial threats and communicate them to your crews. In this role, you will learn how to operate the Sentinel Radar system to provide warning, detection, and protection for armed forces, and will play a vital role in guarding against aerial and space-based attacks.
