Position Summary:

Saint Louis Public Schools is seeking a Senior System Integration Analyst on a contract basis. This role is primarily responsible for supporting the Chief Information Officer and the IT department through new software and the rollout of project management systems for IT.

Responsibilities:

• Research and evaluate technologies for integration with district systems.

• Develop executive dashboards using popular data science and business intelligence tools.

• Support the planning and testing of system integration for new technology adoptions.

• Support the development of IT standards for document and workflow management.

• Research best practices for IT implementation

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Familiarity with popular data science and business intelligence tools such as Python, R, Power BI, Tableau.

• Experience working with relational databases such as SQL Server, Postgre SQL, or MySQL.

• Ability to analyze problems and propose solutions.

• Experience with Agile methodologies including Scrum or similar standard.

• Ability to operate effectively in a team-oriented and collaborative environment.

• Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with all levels of end users and technical resources.

• Proven experience in process analysis, design and improvement

• Familiarity with process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Agile, Six Sigma)is a plus.

Education

• A degree in Information Science, Computer Science, Human-Centered Design, or a related field.

• 3-5 years of experience in computer design, software development, or computer networks.

• Strong understanding of IT planning, management and evaluation

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to exert up to 10 pounds of force occasionally, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to lift, carry, push, and pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body.

• Must be physically able to operate a variety of equipment including computers, copiers, etc.

Working Conditions and Environment:

• Routine office environment with minimal physical risk.
