Position Summary:
Saint Louis Public Schools is seeking a Senior System Integration Analyst on a contract basis. This role is primarily responsible for supporting the Chief Information Officer and the IT department through new software and the rollout of project management systems for IT.
Responsibilities:
Research and evaluate technologies for integration with district systems.
Develop executive dashboards using popular data science and business intelligence tools.
Support the planning and testing of system integration for new technology adoptions.
Support the development of IT standards for document and workflow management.
Research best practices for IT implementation
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Familiarity with popular data science and business intelligence tools such as Python, R, Power BI, Tableau.
Experience working with relational databases such as SQL Server, Postgre SQL, or MySQL.
Ability to analyze problems and propose solutions.
Experience with Agile methodologies including Scrum or similar standard.
Ability to operate effectively in a team-oriented and collaborative environment.
Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with all levels of end users and technical resources.
Proven experience in process analysis, design and improvement
Familiarity with process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Agile, Six Sigma)is a plus.
Education
A degree in Information Science, Computer Science, Human-Centered Design, or a related field.
3-5 years of experience in computer design, software development, or computer networks.
Strong understanding of IT planning, management and evaluation
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to exert up to 10 pounds of force occasionally, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to lift, carry, push, and pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body.
Must be physically able to operate a variety of equipment including computers, copiers, etc.
