Technology provides strategic and procedural support in all of AIG's specialized disciplines, such as policy issuance, premium collection, claims handling, and administration. It enables AIG to deliver business strategies through efficient world-class IT and operations services, while ensuring the necessary IT risk management and security measures are in place.

AIG in Jeffersonville, IN is currently seeking a Senior Systems Analyst to join our team.

  • Design, develop and track project plans across multiple work streams

  • Coordinate meetings and activities with various process owners and support groups

  • Ensure that risks and issues are identified, tracked, reported and resolved in a timely manner

  • Able to execute process and documentation related to quality assurance and testing

  • Develop and document business / functional requirements (BRD/FSD) for system and/or process changes, which include defining requirements, process flows and data mapping

  • Articulate complex projects and status updates in writing to both business and technical personnel

  • Able to translate the user/client requirements to development team

  • Able to support the necessary tools and applications required by the process owner

  • Work with business owners and SMEs to understand the business needs, identify and analyze the source of business/system problems, and recommend viable solutions

  • Collaborate with business/technical teams (developers, testers, business analysts, project managers, and architects) to analyze, plan, design, develop, test, and deliver solutions based on business requirements

  • Partner with business stakeholders and IT to support the global operations platform for our client.

  • Analyze and evaluate solutions to meet business requirements.

  • Provide appropriate IT direction to support the day-to-day and monthly operations for the account.

  • Work on projects with a broad scope, involving multiple systems.

  • Ability to track and manage project risks and issues, including identifying impact and resolution plan.

  • Responsible for delivering to stakeholder requirements and timelines. High sense of ownership and responsibility to all stakeholders to ensure work quality.

  • Develop, document and facilitate user acceptance test plans to ensure fulfillment of requirements and successful project implementation.

  • Flexibility to perform project management responsibilities.

What we are looking for

  • 3-5 years of progressive analyst experience analyzing and solving business problems through the development and implementation of business applications preferred.

  • Bachelor's Degree with technology and operational focus or a related field preferred.

  • Strong analytical skills

  • Effective relationship management skills with staff at all levels

  • Strong Knowledge in MS Office automation and proficient in MS Office development

  • Experience with SSRS and/or Qlikview

  • Experience with SQL

  • Excellent communication (verbal/written), presentation and meeting facilitation skills

  • Demonstrated strategic thinking and ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders and influence cross-functional teams and external parties

  • Experience developing instructional and procedural documentation and presentations

  • Must be adept of handling multiple projects, with ability to prioritize, meet deadlines and manage changing priorities preferably in AGILE methodology

  • Proven ability to be flexible and committed to work hard, both independently and in a team environment in a high pressure on call environment

  • Experience of waterfall and/or agile methodologies. Knowledge of both preferred.

  • Experience with use case methodology.

About Employment at AIG Warranty

This position works at the Jeffersonville , Indiana office Monday through Friday. This is a full time, 40 hour per week role, during normal business hours. AIG Warranty is located less than a mile from downtown Louisville, Kentucky.
