Senior System Administrator

Trilogy Innovations is seeking Senior Systems Administrators to remotely support our federal customer located in Clarksburg, WV. This is an exciting opportunity to join our growing team, while taking part in a multi-year initiative to modernize our federal customer's large-scale IT systems.

Description

As a Systems Administrator you will be responsible for the upkeep, configuration, and reliable operation of computer systems. Requires 7 days a week x 365 days per year on-call responsibility to be shared by the team. System administrator will ensure the uptime, performance, resources, and security of the computers they manage meet the needs of the users. Supports the migration or on-premises hardware to the Amazon Web Service Govcloud. Most work can be performed remotely; however, staff may be required to support face-to-face meetings with the business line or end users. There is potential for face-to-face SAFe ceremonies on occasion

Requirements

• 5 years of experience as a System Administrator

• Bachelor's degree

• Secret Clearance

• Perform daily duties of backups, maintenance on applications and OS, patching, tuning and troubleshooting.

• Support Linux/RHEL 7/8/9 System Administration (quarterly patching, reviewing logs, system documentation, and upgrades.)

• Configure system based on requested changes. Follow CM process to effectively manage environment changes.

• Provide necessary instruction and documentation for change requests, installing operating systems, loading (installing) COTS products, and configuring operating systems and COTS products.

• Recommend changes, upgrades, and enhancements based on the technical analysis.

• Middleware and Applications management and upgrades

• Monitors and supports the operations architecture of applications components associated with the sprint release

• Working experience in Scaled Agile Framework.

• Experience with AWS IAM, VPC, EC2, EBS, EFS, RDS, S3
