We are hiring a technical Software Sustaining Engineer who is motivated by troubleshooting and diagnosing issues found in the Enterprise Data Protection products and delivering timely and high-quality code and architectural fixes to Proofpoint customers. Strong problem determination, isolation, and root cause analysis skills are required to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues. In this role you will work with the Customer Success Backline Technical Support and Product Engineering teams to address product defects by applying code fixes and patches to Enterprise products and platforms.

2+ years of Scripting BASH/Perl/Python
Hands on Linux experience - feel at home in a terminal
Strong analytical, debugging, and troubleshooting skills including use of tools to analyze product logs and support dumps.
You have experience with sustaining and maintenance of Enterprise software products and tools
