Under administrative direction of the President, the Senior Supply Chain Manager is responsible for the successful management and daily operations of the supply chain logistics and customer service. Manages planning, organizing, directing and evaluation of inventory and implementation of inventory management policies for the organization . Responsible for activities that may include, but are not limited to production planning, forecasting, material procurement, inventory control, warehousing , and distribution. This position oversees the Customer Service Manager and Operations Manager, each of whom have their own team of direct reports.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Plan, develop, organize and manage the personnel, operations and budget for the Customer Service and Warehouse groups
Manage inventory control, forecasting, warehousing, and transportation services
Coordinate the sales and operations planning process including demand forecasting , inventory management, and on time delivery
Understand customers' needs and work to satisfy those needs within the Supply Chain organization
Oversees customer issues and ensure effective and long-term problem
Monitors programs and procedures to ensure on-time delivery and customer satisfaction.
Improves customer service quality results by studying, evaluating, and re-designing processes; establishing and communicating service metrics; monitoring and analyzing results; implementing changes
Collaborate with staff, other departments, and senior management to share information, problem solve, and to clarify
Participate in the development of the supply chain strategy for the organization
Address tactical and strategic supply chain issues
Establish key performance indicators , monitor ongoing performance , and improve performance against set goals
Develop analytics, and data management capabilities, including metrics and reports
Develop and implement new systems, best practices, inventory control, demand planning, and other optimizations in order to support the growth of the business
Manages the daily operations related to distribution and production of laboratory products used by medical and
pharmaceutical related customers.
Manages continuous improvement projects within the established Quality Management System
Three Direct Reports.
S. Degree in Business Administration, Logistics or Operations or other related field
5+ years in Progressive Negotiation, Sourcing, Logistics or Supply Chain technical experience
At least 5 years managerial work experience in a global Logistics or Supply Chain organization
Demonstrated experience with strategic sourcing, contract management, procurement processes, materials management and supplier relationship management
Strong analytical skills, strategic understanding of financial measurements, presentation and ability to function and interact with a cross functional team
Excellent communications skills and aptitude in supporting diverse teams and influence cross-functionally are necessary as is the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Experience in a regulated environment including FDA, ISO 13485, ISO 9001 is desired
This position requires visits to customer sites which are medical facilities. These facilities may have certain requirements which TOSOH representatives must meet to gain access, including the requirement for drug, background, and health screening. Employment is contingent on your compliance with the requirements established by each facility, as evidenced by the results of the required screenings.
