Senior Supply Chain Manager

SUMMARY

The Senior Supply Chain Manager, reporting to the Director of Supply Chain Operations, is responsible for managing, planning, organizing, and overseeing the daily operations (Storeroom, Mobile Medical Equipment, and Supply Distribution functions) of all supply chain functions utilizing best practices, conducted within the hospital. The Senior Supply Chain Manager provides strategic leadership, direction and oversight for his/her respective department and works closely with Supply Chain Leadership to develop and execute well-defined business strategies. Responsible for oversight of supply & mobile equipment replenishment and process management for all supply locations within Grady Memorial Hospital to ensure products are available for clinicians and patients. Promotes the development and implementation of best practices and the cultivation of a high reliability organization. Maintains effective communication with hospital executives, department heads, suppliers, and appropriate others to ensure effective departmental operations. Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business or related field or equivalent training/experience.

• 2 - 4 years of managerial experience in a healthcare environment.

• Strategic Thinking: develop, plan communicate and drive action today and for future demands

• Project Management: demonstrated knowledge of project management practices. experience planning and executing large organizational programs and projects.

• Financial Acumen: set measurable outcomes to drive operational and financial stability, while maximizing quality, operational efficiency, cost reduction, and customer satisfaction.

• Communication: oral, written, and auditory; facilitate presenting complex information into understandable data for diverse audiences.
