How will you help the team succeed?The successful candidate will be responsible for

• Ensuring compliance with Occupational Health and Safety legislation, policies, and procedures.
• Ensuring compliance with applicable Environmental laws and regulations, policies and procedures.
• Coordinating site personnel and trade contractors and maintaining accurate records of cost codes.
• Manage potential problems in design/construction and develop the overall project schedule.
• Coordinating equipment and workforce to achieve schedule requirements and identifying potential additional work. –
• Hold regular meetings and review weekly quantity reports for labour costs.
• The candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with Occupational Health and Safety legislation, policies, and procedures and with applicable Environmental laws and regulations, policies, and procedures. • Continually review the Contract Drawings to identify discrepancies between the various disciplines.

Education and ExperienceThe ideal candidate should have the following qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Site Supervisor/Superintendent in a General Contracting environment, with the ability to manage all aspects of the project. –
• A C.Tech., P.Eng., or CET designation. - Either hold or be eligible for 'Gold Seal' certification.
• 10-15 years of relevant construction industry experience in the $75-100 million range.
•  Experience in Water/Wastewater, High-Rise/Commercial, ICI/Infrastructure, Transport or Airport Projects.
•  Highly competent in self-performing formwork and concrete.
•  Excellent communication and organizational skills.  
• Strong leadership and team-building abilities.
• Ability to effectively manage an hourly workforce and sub-trades. -
• Proficiency in MS Office is a must.
