Senior Superintendent

A top ten developer is looking for a Senior Superintendent with experience in Multi-Family Projects, Apartments, Hotels, and Assistant Living construction. The ideal candidate will lead and manage the construction team on site, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest level of quality. Duties and Responsibilities:

• Manage pre-construction development, such as managing all consultants.
• Schedule trades, and manage week-ahead reporting
• Preparing and defining the project scope of work, financial plan, goals, and deliverables.
• Tracking project deliveries using project management tools.
• Coordinating directly and indirectly with project staff to ensure successful completion of the project – Directing, supervising, supporting, and coordinating the project team members/staff.
• Communicating with clients, subcontractors, and vendors to establish cordial/effective working relationships.
• Reporting on project progress and sharing relevant information

Qualifications:

• Multi-Family, Projects, Apartments, Hotels, Assistant Living, and construction projects in Northern California
• Wood Frame Construction, TYPE III, TYPE II, building experience
• Project Management experience with an affordable housing developer, General Contractor, or CM firm
• Strong relationships within the local northern California sub-contractor industry
• 10 years of project management experience, including tracking and planning projects
• 5 years of experience working with business stakeholders within a cross-functional matrix environment
• 5 years of previous experience with gathering requirements from the client/business and documentation
• Proficiency with MS Project, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint and SharePoint, Bluebeam, and Procore.
• Proven ability to demonstrate a drive for results and accountability of business needs
