NTT DATA Services currently seeks a Senior Summit Developer 2018-260805 WASH DC TREA to join our team in Washington DC, District of Columbia (US-DC), United States (US).

Position Functions or Responsibilities

  • Actively engage in and contribute to front-end and back-end development & support activities.

  • Contribute to architecture & technical design of our UI, services and data platforms in our core technology stack.

  • Interact with business partners, stakeholders, project managers and senior management to understand requirements & business processes to facilitate the development of innovative and efficient systems to meet complex, changing needs.

  • Collaborate with teammates on helping define & incorporate best practices, standards & paradigms and improving operational aspects of the system.

  • Produce clean, maintainable code artifacts and work well within a team of developers.

  • Experienced IT Professional performing as independent contributor that participates in functions such as design, development and implementation of application systems.

  • Resource shall be accountable, has substantial responsibility and autonomy.

Successfully manages large and/or complex projects, processes, or services that have impact across multiple areas, such as across multiple functions, processes, services, etc.

  • May manage resources necessary to complete the project.

  • Provides direction to team members in their area of expertise.

  • Contributes with subject matter expertise and serves as a technical resource.

  • Primary Skills

  • Must have 10+ years of experience and a BS/BA degree.

  • Must have at least 6+ year of experience in Unix environment, Database, Microsoft .Net platform, Java, Unix scripting

  • Knowledge of Summit (Misys) vendor API's

  • Finance industry expense

  • Knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle, hands-on experience in software development process (i.e. Agile, Waterfall or Iterative)

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

Nice to Have

  • 8+ years of experience in Financial, Capital Markets or Banking
  • 5+ years of experience within a Treasury Department or bank trading operation
