Description:Missiles and Fire Control's (MFC) SEMAC organization has an exciting opportunity for an Experienced Professional dedicated to the acquisition of materials for multiple MFC programs and locations. The position will be responsible for the management of supplier cost, schedule and technical performance on moderately complex build-to-print hardware for DOD programs.
Duties include Preparation of bid packages, analyzes and evaluates proposals, selects or recommends subcontractors, performs price analysis, use of cost evaluations for development of pre-negotiation strategies, supports and/or negotiations, subcontract/PO documentation and placement, invoice reconciliation and payment, negotiates and coordinates additions, deletions, or modifications to subcontracts. Work with program and other areas of the business including risk management, resolution of contract issues and development of second sources. This position will require the individual manage commodities with moderate complexity and moderate to high volume of purchase requisitions.
Experience with the procurement of specialized materials, complex assemblies, and equipment within Defense industry.
Thorough knowledge of acquisition policies and procedures such as LMAP and thorough knowledge of FAR/DFAR acquisition policies
Strong demonstrated negotiation skills
Working knowledge of standard contract types
