Providence St. Joseph Health is calling a Senior Strategy Analyst, PSJH to Providence Strategic and Management Services in Renton, WA.

We are seeking a Jack/Jill-of-all-trades (part data geek, part business analyst) with strong communication skills, a thirst for learning, and a strategic mindset. The Senior Strategy Analyst, PSJH to be responsible for providing assistance with strategic planning and data analysis functions, including leading the reporting metric results, conducting analyses, summarizing findings and tracking performance. Working closely with the Executive Director and Sr. Manager, Strategy & Planning, and the Regional / Shared Service Strategy leaders and their respective teams, you also will provide guidance, project management and analytical support for strategy and analytical endeavors. You will work with latitude in the use of initiative and independent judgment, but also will work collaboratively with other members of the team.

In this position you will:

  • In alignment and support of the PSJH Integrated Strategic & Financial Plan (ISFP), provide project and/or facilitation support for strategic planning efforts (e.g. System, Regions, Service Lines / Lines of Business / Clinical Institutes, Other), as assigned.

  • Identify data sources, transform disparate data into a usable format, understand relational databases, and develop system-wide analytic solutions.

  • Prepare reports and presentations based on analyses for use in strategic planning activities.

  • Develop and analyze market research information to develop intelligence reports and related forecasting tools.

  • Design, develop and implement PSJH performance reporting and monitoring capabilities, including implementing and maintaining performance measurement tools and techniques, managing routine reporting and tracking efforts (e.g. PSJH metric dashboards, strategic goal-specific dashboards and reports), and preparing ad hoc quantitative and qualitative reports and interactive dashboards.

  • Maintain working knowledge of health care market trends and stay abreast of the evolving health care landscape; in partnership with the PSJH Analytics function, develop environmental assessments to summarize and communicate evolving trends.

  • Work at all times to ensure data integrity, accuracy and resolution of data / reporting issues with stakeholders.

Required qualifications for this position include:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Health Care Administration, Planning, Finance or a related discipline

  • Five (5) plus years of experience in health care, planning, business development, finance or a closely related field with demonstrated expertise in the use of computers and electronic systems for data extraction and analysis

  • Some travel

Preferred qualifications for this position include:

  • Capable of analyzing and organizing data in a manner that is easy to understand and to make recommendations based on the data.

  • Experience with data analytics platforms & tools (e.g. Tableau, Mapping/GIS, etc.)

  • Strong communication skills, including ability to use remote communication tools and technology to foster effective working relationships, project management, engagement and strong performance.

  • Strong communication skills with ability to present complex information orally, in written form, and/or graphically to a wide range of audiences.

  • Experience with Access, SQL, or similar databases, database design and maintenance, data transformation and validation/QA.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet timelines

  • Extensive experience with Windows-based software such as Microsoft Office, Excel or similar software, word processing, and presentations.

  • Master's degree in Business Administration, Health Care Administration, Planning, Finance or a related discipline.

  • Three (3) years' experience with health care planning and an understanding of the health care industry, operations, and reimbursement is preferred.

  • Three (3) years' training and experience in GE's Change Acceleration Process (CAP), Work-out, Six Sigma and/or a comparable process improvement discipline is considered valuable.

We are seeking a Senior IS Asset Management System Administrator to be responsible for the daily activities of Technology Operations; Tier 2 and 3 production support; MAC's (device Move, Adds & Changes), Break-Fix, Lifecycle Management, and Major Incident resolution including both centralized and local technical support of advanced voice, desktop, LAN, WLAN, VLAN, and WAN technologies. 7x24x365 Production Operations and Operational User support for Providence Health & Services at centralized, regional or ministry-based site(s). Responsible for ensuring proper escalation to 3rd-level TSO teams; Engineering, Architecture and Applications. Develops relationships with regional customers so that IS/IT infrastructure services are provided according to regional business need with priority and special emphasis placed on production systems, production incidents and emergencies in this descending order of importance. Has experience working in a distributed environment working with local and geographically distributed team members and teams. The scope of activities include but, are not limited to technological production systems service and support and those activities associated with such Production Systems (network, telephony, laptops), end-user devices (desktops, thin clients, tablets, mobile devices, etc.). Additional responsibilities include 7x24x365 on-call and on-site support, technology lifecycle replacements, technical skills development, operational effectiveness and management of day-to-day tasks and assignments. In this position you will have the following responsibilities: * Responsible for the Service and Support of the production systems, end-user devices, and supporting infrastructure at PH&S centralized, regional or ministry-based site(s). * Key Production Areas of support: Network, Telecom, Desktop; Break Fix; 7x24x365 Production On-Call; Moves/Adds/Changes; Service Requests; Closet Maintenance; UPS Support, Cable Patching, Cable Punch-Down; Wireless Infrastructure; Vocera Support; Port Activation, Port Turn-up; Lifecycle Hardware Replacement; Local DC Hands-On Support; Circuit Support; Vendor Onsite Coordination; SOP execution, Spot End-User Training; Current-State and Knowledge-Based Article Creation. * Implement technology solutions to meet customer requirements with a balanced view towards performance, availability, data security, and cost effectiveness. * Collaborate with other IS teams to meet the needs of the PH&S. * Perform all work with the focus on how best to support the Providence mission and ministries. * Responsible for the development of current state documentation and knowledge base articles for deployed technology solutions.
