Focusing on driving positive client results, Pathway provides a range of services including full service media planning and buying across traditional, digital and emerging channels, media and brand analytics and continuous media optimization

The Role

The Senior Strategist plays a crucial role in the development and implementation of media plans in accordance with the media objectives and goals on assigned account(s). In this position, you will work with your team on media plans development, implementation and performance reporting.

Responsibilities

  • Leverage data from syndicated research, segmentation studies, client business reports, primary research, 1st and 3rd party audience data, competitive reports, etc. to build media recommendations that deliver on client objectives.

  • Work with specialist team members to execute media plans by across both offline and digital channels.

  • Analyze media and business results data to draw insights and optimization recommendations.

  • Develop and present points-of-view on new media opportunities.

  • Perform competitive analyses and make recommendations based on key findings.

  • Participate in client meetigs and make client presentations as required.

  • Guide junior team members through the fundamentals of the planning process; delegate responsibilities and check work.

  • Attend Learning and Development training classes as appropriate.

Qualifications

  • College graduate with a Bachelor's degree.

  • 2-3 years of media experience.

  • Interest in the principles of advertising, marketing and media.

  • Analytical thinking with a competency in mathematical concepts.

  • Works well in a team environment.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.

  • Ability to learn media tools and software.

  • Ability to write clearly and concisely, as well as communicate and interact professionally.

  • Strong presentation skills.
