POSITION SUMMARY:

In this role, you will develop the company's capability to analyze demand for decking and accessories business with a range of probabilistic scenarios. Also, apply CAGR analysis and other macro-economic indicators to predict a range of scenarios.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

Your primary duties and responsibilities will be:

  • Develop SKU level sell-through forecast capability and linkage to production plan. Understand SKU level inventory at branch level and ultimately create a SKU level sell-to forecast.

  • Analyze the demand trends at color and gage level and use the insights to develop a demand plan.

  • Capture other leading indicators on shifting patterns in sell-through demand and send sell-to signals to right size inventory at AZEK. Partner with Product Management on these insights.

  • Own the complete demand planning for Retail business.

  • Collaborate with sales and product management on new wins, new distributor locations, and new product introductions to create a demand plan proactively.

  • Upload SKU level forecast in JDE on monthly basis.

  • Perform root cause and corrective action on significant forecast errors. Understand if and how these errors could have been prevented.

  • Create a demand plan that supply chain believes in and acts upon.

  • Perform other analytical work as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education: Bachelor's degree required in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Engineering or related field. The degree requirement can be relaxed if candidate can demonstrate related transferable skills.

Preferred Professional Experience: You should have a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience with a minimum 3 years' experience in SI&OP/production/demand/supply planning in a multi-site manufacturing environment. Candidates from non-supply chain disciplines are encouraged to apply if they feel they have the aptitude and attitude for this role. Experience with JDE/SAP/ERP Forecast X/Hana/IBP/APO tools desirable.

Success Measurements:

90 day

  • Create and add value to the business, team, and leader by closely monitoring and reporting on changes in sell to data at more frequent intervals.

  • Understand, track, analyze, and report OEE performance on the lines.

1 year

  • Achieve significant progress on tying sell through data from distribution partners to sell to data, finding a way to integrate sell through to sell to data and generate a forecast resulting from this data.

Compensation for roles at AZEK varies depending on a wide range of factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set and level of experience. The annual salary for this role based in Wilmington, OH is $76,000 to $92,000 In addition to base salary, we offer generous bonus and incentive opportunities that significantly increase earning potential.
