Senior Stock Controller

The Senior Stock Controller (SSC) partners with Store operations, ales team and Management to oversee all back of house operational duties and ensures compliance with company procedure. The Senior Stock Controller strives to achieve individual and team results, responsible for acting as the CEM (Client Experience Manager) and Manager on Duty. The SSC coaches and guides the Stock and Sales teams, sharing skills and knowledge while also ensuring the store operations are being executed to brand standard, including floor coverage.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Ensure the Moncler Service standards are executed consistently

  • Contribute to enhance team performances as a supervisor and coach, sharing knowledge, information, best practices, and mentoring colleagues with less experience

  • Supervise the back of house and sales floor, acting as CEM and manager on duty

  • Manage inventory, shipping and receiving procedures

  • Provides Customer Service to clients in regards to repairs and return of merchandise

  • Drives store performance through inventory level accuracy, ensuring the product is in the right place at the right time

  • Effectively coaches and ensures all store staff complies with all company policy and procedures (Inventory Maintenance, back-of-house Operations procedures, etc.)

  • Oversee delivery of incoming and outgoing shipments and direct staff for store inventories

  • Work with all Stock Associates to maintain accurate inventory levels at all times

  • Adheres to all Company Operational Policy and Procedures as established by the Retail Operations Manager

  • Additional responsibilities as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum of 3-5 years Retail Operations experience

  • Prior experience in luxury retail preferred

  • Proven track record of successful inventory management, maintenance and availability reports

  • Experience in supervising other, providing feedback and coaching

  • Proficient computer knowledge (MS Word, Excel and Outlook)

  • College Degree preferred

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must have authorization to work in the country of employment

  • Must be willing to work overtime with short notice

  • Must be 18 years or older

  • Ability to work varied hours and days to ensure store is fully operational

  • Ability to stand and walk for majority of a 40-hour work week

As a Controller, you will: * The US Controller is an integral member of Bringg's accounting team. The ideal candidate has proven performance in scaling processes and has worked in a high growth environment. This position is a founding member of the US Accounting and Finance team and will report directly to the Director of finance. Responsibilities: * Responsible for oversight of monthly accounting entries, month-end and year-end close procedures and balance sheet reconciliations for Bringg's US subsidiary * Responsible for revenue recognition, including preparing monthly revenue recognition journal entries, monthly revenue analytics and deferred revenue account reconciliations. * Responsible for building and maintaining revenue controls and revenue recognition policy which complies with US GAAP * Review and analyze new deals, responsible for the Deal Desk * Recruit and manage the US bookkeeping team * Collaborate cross-functionally with legal, sales, and sales operations to guide on technical accounting, policy, or process issues around revenue recognition. * Verify accuracy of commissions accounting treatment * Review and monitor costs inherent to the business. * Manage other finance-related activities, including AP/AR, billing and collections. * Schedule expenditures, analyze variances, and identify corrective actions when necessary. * Responsible for Bringg's state and federal tax filing as well as compliance/tax reporting * Collaborate with Director of finance to facilitate invoice approvals and payments. * Prepare financial reports for creditors, regulatory agencies, tax authorities, and others. * Assist with the preparation of audit schedules and provide timely responses to auditor requests * Oversight and approval of payroll for the US subsidiary * Act as Bringg's Finance Business Partner for the US entity. * Responsible for the growth (hiring and management) of the US Accounting team. * Assist with the implementation of new finance related tools What you'll bring: * public (Big 4) accounting experience * experience in a small to medium sized Software/SaaS company * Minimum 3 years' experience as an accounting senior or leader. * Proficient with software applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) including the use of VLookup, Pivot Tables, and other Excel functions as well as ambition to learn internal systems. * Experience with NetSuite - preferred. * In depth revenue recognition knowledge, experience with ASC 606.
