We are looking to hire a passionate, self-directed and tenacious individual who will become a key developer / influencer on the ServiceNow's Platform Security Development team.

The Platform Security is a highly motivated and productive development team at ServiceNow. Our mission is to provide the security framework that is used to secure ServiceNow applications. This includes Crypto technologies, ACLs, Roles, IP Security, Domain Separation, and Scoped Application Administration.

What you will be doing

  • Participate in our Agile development process and help to solve security problems

  • Architect software design, provide accurate time estimates, develop test plans and test strategies

  • Coordinate cross team efforts including the management of resources, integrations, requirements and dependencies

  • Design, develop, implement, test, and debug, multi-threaded, multi-processing enterprise software applications and associated user interfaces

  • Oversee the release of key features

  • Working with customers to understand and solve security issues

  • Discovering and documenting root cause analysis for known product defects

  • Research and develop state of the art security/encryption solutions

  • Mentor Jr. members of the team

  • Have fun!

Required Skills

  • In depth knowledge of JVM, Java Structures and APIs, Java Threading etc.

  • Experience writing and debugging Java multi-threaded programs

  • Rapid comprehension of platforms and complex systems

  • Experience developing and debugging of client side/server side interfaces with AJAX and JavaScript

  • Experience with Java Servlets, REST, and SOAP

Desired Skills

  • Experience with XML and JSON stream parsers

  • Familiarity with Unix shell and source control systems and tools such as git, maven and ant

  • Knowledge of public and private key cryptography, digital signatures, digital certificates, PGP, and encryption protocols such as TLS/SSL is a plus

  • Knowledge of authentication protocols such as basic and digest authentication, SAML, LDAP, and OAuth

  • Experience with networks, load balancers, proxies and databases

You will oversee a broad spectrum of accounting areas in order to maintain general ledger as needed. Maintain records of assets, liabilities, profit and loss, tax liability, or other financial activities within an organization. You will also investigate variance issues. Additional Key Responsibilities: * Understands various Cisco financial systems, reporting and analytics for a very important business that drives huge volumes and where data analysis is key input in business decisions. * Supports key accounting activities and projects for financial planning, reporting, and consolidation of Meraki into Cisco * Conducts qualitative analyses to determine present and future financial and operational performance to identify risks and opportunities for assigned areas. * Responsible for select activities relating to the maintenance of the general ledger, and related financial analysis, reports, and financial statements. * Maintains one or a combination of general accounting systems (Microsoft Great Plains, Oracle). * Coordinate and respond to requests from internal and external auditors. * Prepare and submit state, federal and foreign tax reporting requirements. * Responsible for the US GAAP/IFRS book & fiscal compliance matters (statutory accounts, direct & indirect tax) of the legal entities assigned. * Work with Accounting Manager to continuously improve processes and systems by developing compelling, insightful recommendations based on quality data analysis and lead execution against recommendations quickly and with flawless accuracy * Share technical accounting expertise with general Finance team in resolving issues, improving processes or creating new methods. * Create and build partnerships with internal resources (Cisco Finance, Meraki Finance/Operations) to allow for timely completion of deliverables and knowledge sharing. Required Qualifications and Skills: * Bachelor's Degree in Business Related field (Finance or Accounting preferred) * At least 5-7 years of related experience in Finance, Accounting, Audit or related areas * Excellent written and verbal communication skills * Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint * Capable of working cross functionally with teams and commit to deadlines, fostering a positive work environment * Ability to actively manage competing deliverables to meet business commitments and partners' expectations * Strong financial analysis and cost management skills with a proven track record * Strong team player, capable of dealing with complex issues Nice to Have Qualifications and Skills: * Experience with Microsoft Great Plains or Oracle ERP systems * Big 4 Audit Experience * CPA Preferred Cisco Systems, Inc.
