The Enterprise Data Strategy (EDS) team within Global Data & Analytics (GD&A) is built to help Cigna drive the improvement in the accessibility and quality of our data assets and tools, and allow us to deliver data solutions faster than we do today. Our ultimate goal is to ensure Cigna's ability to grow is unconstrained by any limitations of our data. The Cigna Enterprise Data Strategy team is comprised of business and technical teams spanning Customer, Provider, Client (Buyer) and Intermediary (Producer) Data Domains as well as foundational enterprise data teams. The Client (Buyer) and Intermediary (Producer) Data Domains team establishes client and producer data strategies through an Enterprise lens and ensures roadmap delivery for all enterprise client and producer data domain initiatives.

Job Description

We are seeking a talented Communications and Business Engagement Advisor to provide support services to our Client and Producer data domain team This individual has the profile of a leader and a collaborative professional who excels in dynamic, sometimes ambiguous, complex, high-stakes, enterprise-level activities by taking ownership, driving action, and ensuring results. Able to lead the direction for high profile communications materials for teams of senior executives. Can respond quickly to both planned and unplanned activities, acting as "right hand" to department leadership, ensuring delivery and kept promises to matrixed business partners and IT. The successful candidate will work directly with colleagues at all levels of the Enterprise, and will be adept at navigating corporate structures and team dynamics; developing executive level communications; and producing actionable output from communicated direction and vision.

Major Duties:

The Communications and Business Engagement Advisor is an individual contributor who will direct complex, critical program efforts. Manages communications activities such as developing communications plan, providing both high level and detailed planning and guidance. Always views the program from a holistic view, while still managing the details. Manages conflict resolution and the political aspects of the Program by interacting seamlessly with project team members; stakeholders and governance boards. Provides overall leadership and vision.

Support the engagement/messaging for Cigna's Client and Producer Data Domain initiatives. Provide both proactive strategic consultations and tactical delivery for a wide variety of communication, engagement & change management support activities that drive affordability, personalization and value.

Foundational:

  • Attend project meetings to gather insights to help tell the broader story

  • Materials preparation & review including data domain emails, presentations, blogs, videos, newsletters, podcasts, infographics, etc.

  • Organization, agenda management, and wrap-up report out for staff meetings and other domain-specific meetings

  • Management and coordination of event calendars including town halls, lunch & learns, etc

Strategic:

  • Partner with Data Domain leads to craft messaging

  • Assist Steering Committees & Leadership with coaching, preparation, and execution of presentations, visual aids and meetings

  • Assess, manage and iterate the Channel Strategy used for communications

  • Connect Domain-specific strategy with the Enterprise program strategy

  • Data & Analytics Engineering Communications

  • Enterprise Change Management (AVMO)

Qualifications:

  • 7+ years' experience with demonstrated skills in communications, relationship building, negotiation, conflict resolution, and management of projects which have medium to high degree of complexity required.

  • Exceptional oral and written communication and presentation skills. This individual must be comfortable with professionally challenging key stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

  • Exceptional execution of project communications plans is a must.

  • Ability to make complex topics simple via story-telling and executive presentations.

  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly Word, Outlook, Excel, Visio, PPT and SharePoint are critical; demonstrated ability to produce crisp, professional documents imperative.

  • Must be detail oriented, but able to pivot and communicate at a high-level to leadership teams.

  • Effective analytical and administrative skills; formal Business Analysis experience preferred.

  • Proven track-record in managing multiple assignments simultaneously.

  • Consistently dependable, self-motivated, flexible, and highly driven individual.

  • Must have a good attitude and know how to make work enjoyable; curiosity imperative.

  • Consultative mentality with formal consulting experience desirable.

  • Excellent organizational skills an absolute must.

  • Negotiation and decision making skills.

  • Develop communication plans and interfaces with matrix teams, IT leadership, business leadership, and external vendors/partners.

  • Has a successful track record of completing communications projects on time and on budget.

  • Ability to work independently or in a team, set priorities and meet deadlines on at least one to two projects.

  • Has demonstrated outstanding negotiation, presentation, and facilitation skills.

  • Bachelor's Degree in related field or equivalent years of experience is required; Graduate degree preferred.

WHERE YOU'LL FIT WITHIN THE TEAM In collaboration with Bain case teams and Bain Partners, the Client Engagement Manager will build and nurture positive client relationships and work closely with users and decision-makers to assist them in effectively utilizing our platform. The key driver to success in this position is providing top-notch service in the areas of product knowledge, customer experience, and proactive competitive CX insights. The CEM will also be the clients' first point of contact, ensuring that the relationships remain strong and enduring. The Client Engagement Manager's primary responsibility is to manage a portfolio of strategic clients who are leveraging NPS Prism's benchmarking CX insights. The CEM will develop, manage and grow key client relationships, forming close partnerships with senior marketers, business leaders, and consumer insights professionals. Mission of the Client Engagement Manager: * Own the strategic relationship with NPS Prism clients to ensure that they realize the full strategic insights and value of the Prism tool in order to drive CX improvement throughout their organization * Deliver client excellence through new CX industry insights powered by Prism and by executing day-to-day delivery in a high-quality, detail oriented manner * Drive prospective client sales discussions and processes, in collaboration with Bain Partners, to fuel the growth of the Prism business WHAT YOU'LL DO * Lead multiple strategic client relationships for NPS Prism and own all day to day aspects of client management * Own the client relationship for NPS Prism * Set the strategy for the account: Manage strategic account plans by pursuing revenue growth opportunities and developing tactical plans to grow presence including creating and maintaining a multi-year roadmap.
