Position Summary:
The Senior Staff Accountant will perform full-cycle accounting, contract administration, and assist in ad hoc report preparation, job cost analysis, internal / external audits and various federal and state tax return preparation.
Responsibilities:
Accounting Tasks:
Cash Administration - transaction posting, reporting and analysis.
A/P and A/ Maintenance
Fixed Asset Administration - acquisition, disposal, depreciation, rate analysis, database maintenance on various systems used for equipment tracking
General Ledger Maintenance
Job Cost Analysis:
Equipment - process equipment usage, perform data analysis and prepare monthly reports for management and ad hoc reports as needed.
Labor/Materials/ Others - perform analysis as issues arise.
Prepare job cost reports as requested.
Contract Administration:
Document Management and Project set-up in the ERP system.
Owner Payment Application Process.
Subcontractor administration.
Joint Venture billing/cost Management.
Heavy coordination /communication with project team to accomplish aforementioned tasks.
