Handles financial situations that arise on a daily basis as requested by supervisors. Works with other departments on related financial problems and situations. Prepares monthly financial statements.
Manages all responsibilities related to Accounts Payable function within the Accounting Department.
Manages and reconciles Available Capital on an on-going basis.
Responsible for preparing and reviewing all expenses accruals during the month end close to ensure accurate financial reporting.
Serves as a liaison between Managers/Directors and Finance Department for inquiries of departmental expenses.
Prepares and posts month end general and standard journal entries monthly.
Prepares year end audit work papers and prepares internal audit work papers as needed.
Prepares financial analysis/special projects as requested by Controller/CFO.
Responsible for maintaining financial files.
Serves as liaison between Hospital and Supply Chain Service Center in the area of Accounts Payable to ensure accurate financial reporting of expenses.
Assist the needs of other staff in the Accounting Department
Maintains a solid working knowledge of all computer systems that impact financial reporting.
Assist Controller with preparation of Monthly Operating review package as needed.
