We offer a generous compensation package for Full-time and Part-time including: vacation, 401k, and Medical Insurance.


Handles financial situations that arise on a daily basis as requested by supervisors. Works with other departments on related financial problems and situations. Prepares monthly financial statements.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Manages all responsibilities related to Accounts Payable function within the Accounting Department.

  • Manages and reconciles Available Capital on an on-going basis.

  • Responsible for preparing and reviewing all expenses accruals during the month end close to ensure accurate financial reporting.

  • Serves as a liaison between Managers/Directors and Finance Department for inquiries of departmental expenses.

  • Prepares and posts month end general and standard journal entries monthly.

  • Prepares year end audit work papers and prepares internal audit work papers as needed.

  • Prepares financial analysis/special projects as requested by Controller/CFO.

  • Responsible for maintaining financial files.

  • Serves as liaison between Hospital and Supply Chain Service Center in the area of Accounts Payable to ensure accurate financial reporting of expenses.

  • Assist the needs of other staff in the Accounting Department

  • Maintains a solid working knowledge of all computer systems that impact financial reporting.

  • Assist Controller with preparation of Monthly Operating review package as needed.

  • 2 years in a similar position
  • Hospital experience strongly preferred

Qualified candidates will need to reside or be willing to relocate to the East Florida Division, working out of the JFK Medical Center in Palm Beach. You will be performing the following duties: * Maintaining relationship with Division VPs of Recruitment as well as Division recruiters. * Develop and implement programs, plans, policies, and procedures for recruitment, screening, selection, and placement of physicians. * Serve as communication liaison with market leadership, HCAPS management, candidates and physicians. * Plan and direct activities of staff in carrying out such functions as developing sources of qualified applicants, screening applicants, checking references and background, and evaluating applicant qualifications. * Conduct phone interviews with candidates for open positions. * Develop and maintain contacts with educational institutions, employment agencies, placement firms, residency and fellowship programs and other sources of applicants. * Represent the company at association meeting and physician training programs. * Determine Internet online recruiting strategies for attracting and recruiting candidates. * Serve as a resource for on-campus and off-site recruitment programs including job fairs, trade shows, and media presence. * Manage physician candidate tracking systems. Provides recommendation for operational changes and ensures implementation and adherence. * Maintain data on recruitment activities, applicant flow, interviews, and recruitment results to maintain accurate and comprehensive files such as candidate records, internal and external reports and correspondence. * Prepare and analyze statistical reports and other data to monitor candidate referrals to Divisions as well as further actions on candidate referrals. Education: * Bachelor's degree is required. * Significant experience may be considered in lieu of degree. Experience: * 4 years of related experience, or equivalent combination of experience is required. * Physician recruitment experience is necessary. Working Environment: * Work in an office environment, specifically out of our JFK Medical Center in Palm Beach, FL, and supporting HCA Healthcare's East Florida Division market. * Typical work hours can vary depending on workload and hiring deliverables. * Some travel may be required.
