Senior Staff Accountant

Description: Job Summary:

The Senior Staff Accountant will work with the CFO on the following: General ledger maintenance and preparing financial reports to track the organization's assets, liabilities, P&Ls, tax liabilities, and other related financial activities. Successful candidate must have a desire to advance to greater levels of responsibility and expertise.

Your responsibilities will include: Driving the results of 12B Residential's Accounting team and executing on the strategies set by the senior leadership team Mentoring and leading by example, including training, instructing, and overseeing the work of junior accounting staff, while developing and controlling better processes that drive efficiency and accuracy Assisting with corporate reporting on various operating companies and providing accurate monthly reporting, and assisting with the narratives Completing monthly bank reconciliations for various operating entities Completing tax package reporting on assigned entities Managing company credit card processes, ensuring proper coding of expenses, timely submission of supporting documents and 100% adherence to company's expense policy Manage payroll, profit and costs centers and overhead allocation processes Taking on occasional special projects, performing and assisting with duties as necessary to maintain workflow and meet deadlines Requirements: What we seek in this candidate:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Four years of accounting experience Experience in a senior contributor role that includes reviewing reports prepared both internally and externally Experience with general ledger systems, including journal entries and financial statements Excellent communication skills and the ability to both work productively alone and in a team environment The ability to work professionally with confidential and sensitive information; the awareness and ability to recognize and correct oversights and inaccuracies CPA and experience in closely held multi-entity environment preferred You will work with: Team members ready to assist with any project An experienced top-level Leadership team The CFO, Accounting team and other top leaders Are you seeking an opportunity in a growth environment where your input and contributions will be valued?
