Currently, we are seeking a qualified candidate for a Trade Partner Support Specialist opening to join our Business to Business (B2B) Customer Service Order Management organization.

Day to Day

Today, you will be providing world-class customer service by phone to our Part Distributors and Trade Partners while responding to inquiries such as order status, part availability, order validation, or pricing issues. Tomorrow you might be utilizing problem resolution skills to resolve a customer complaint in support of our domestic Trade Partners, Part Distributors, Sears, Commercial Laundry, or OEM accounts. You would work cross functionally, as needed, with Inventory Management, Service Engineering, Plainfield Warehouse and Sales Managers. You would be required to handle all B2B interactions with the highest level of professionalism / confidentiality, adhering to all contracts, agreements, and policy and procedure regulations.

What You Will Do

  • Provide world class Customer Service support by answering phone calls from Trade Partners and Part Distributor questions on parts and part orders.

  • Provide accurate part information related to: availability, research, order modification, pricing, door FIP, order validation, cancellations, and order status.

  • Provide follow up resolution to our Trade Partner within a timely manner

  • Assist with offline projects as the need arise

  • Interact with various levels of management

Qualifications

What You Need To Succeed

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Must be able to work independently and as a team

  • Strong interpersonal skills and the dedication to stay focused on several tasks at once

  • Ability to negotiate positively and effectively with our Trade Partners

  • Good decision making and judgment skills

  • A strong knowledge of SAP NPD, AS400, Partsmart, Sharepoint, Phud notes, and eCRM.

BASIC FUNCTION: Manages and controls processes and logistics of receiving, storing and pulling components for production to meet scheduled customer requirements. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: POSITION FOCUS: Manages receipt of all raw material and outside processed parts. Responsible for sound management of raw material inventory and finished product inventory. Manages manpower to supply production areas with necessary parts to build product. Responsible for the storage of material, both units and parts, to meet required inventory levels. Manage, coach, train, and direct employees toward achieving departmental objectives. Manages all shipments to domestic and international customers, Gast Representatives and Distributors. Responsible for all bills of lading and freight bills, calling freight lines to schedule pick-ups, air shipments and the loading and unloading of international and domestic freight. Manages staff responsible for invoicing customer orders. Responsible for management of Aftermarket parts and kitting areas. Ensuring customer orders are fulfilled accurately and on-time. Responsible for accuracy in the labeling and auditing of age sensitive materials to meet requirements of Quality Standards (ISO 9001). Enforces procedures and guidelines pertaining to the receipt of hazardous waste materials. Also responsible for disposal of hazardous chemical containers according to Environmental Standards (ISO 14001). Responsible for continuous system improvement and implementation. Understanding of all present computer systems is required. Responsible for scheduling drivers and maintaining truck and mail van, which includes picking up interplant parts and finished goods and moving internal and external mail. Creates departmental metrics/KPI's, managing team to support and achieve. Design and implement advanced processing techniques, material movement, and computer systems necessary to achieve productivity gains while ensuring accurate inventory. PHYSICAL/MENTAL/ENVIRONMENTAL REQUIREMENTS: Demonstrated commitment to continuous quality improvement.
