POSITION SUMMARY

Responsible for the sales activity of the Treasury Services Department, including the assistance with new services, the development of marketing programs, and the servicing of existing clients. Responsible for meeting sales goals of assigned region(s).

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Calls on prospective or existing clients to develop new business, expand existing business relationships, maintain good client relationships, and ensure proper servicing of accounts.

  • Prepares Treasury Services proposals and makes recommendations to assist business clients with monitoring and protecting cash flows. Responds to Requests For Proposal (RFP).

  • Participates in Relationship Reviews. Leads regional initiatives and makes recommendations for Treasury reviews.

  • Follows up with existing clients to ensure good service and cross-sell additional services. Reacts for fraud occurrences on business accounts.

  • Implements and maintains Treasury Services to fully meet the needs of existing and potential customers.

  • Prepares, delivers and reviews Treasury Services documents with clients. Reviews returned Treasury Services documents to ensure accuracy.

  • Coordinates and assists with new client setups including training, onboarding and ongoing service. Coordinates onboarding efforts with Relationship Managers.

  • Participates in on-going training for Treasury Services product generalists. Assists in training of new Treasury employees. Serves as a SME for Treasury staff.

  • Provides guidance and participates in joint calls with other Treasury Services team members on clients with extensive or complex Treasury Service needs and/or for training purposes.

  • Tracks Treasury Services product sales to ensure proper reporting of sales achievement to goal.

  • Independently develops a sales and marketing strategy for Treasury Services programs in assigned region, monitoring its success, and coordinate the Treasury Services call program with other departments.

  • Independently designs and provides educational meetings with both the Retail and Commercial departments on new and existing Treasury Services. Serves as Treasury Leader in assigned region.

  • Meets with Region Management, Relationship Managers and Business Bankers to review and put together cross-selling action plans based on prospect and existing client lists, department or regional initiatives, or other bank initiatives.

  • Participates and/or presents in regional efforts, including but not limited to seminars, new product implementation, COI events, community events, networking events, calling blitz, etc.

  • Works with Treasury Services management team to roll out new products and/or processes. Advises management on continuous improvement initiatives. Recommends pricing of Treasury Services programs to ensure their competitiveness and profitability.

  • Recommends and cross sells other bank services to Treasury clients.

  • Maintains an awareness of trends and new developments in the field of Treasury Services and ensures that the bank provides the most up-to-date, efficient services.

  • Must have valid driver's license.

  • Completes all compliance training related to the position.

  • Understands all applicable laws and regulations that apply to the position and complies with the requirements.

NON-ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Performs all other duties as assigned.

EXPERIENCE/SKILLS

  • Three (3) to five (5) years of banking and Treasury Services experience required.

  • Proactive sales skills with ability to prospect new client relationships.

  • High degree of self-motivation and ability to work autonomously.

  • Strong client relationship management and customer service.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate with all levels internally and externally.

  • Ability to maintain effective relationships with internal service partners and customers in order to gain their trust and respect.

  • Customer service oriented.

  • Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

  • Good PC skills--proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel essential.

EDUCATION

Bachelor's Degree preferred.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS

Ability to travel to off-site locations for meetings, projects, seminars, etc., as well as ability to travel overnight.
