Duties: Research, design, and develop computer and network software or specialized utility programs. Architect and design applications with latest technology. Coding and developing applications based on the user requirements.
Use agile methodology best practices during the project execution face. Collaborate with the offshore and onsite team to review the code and improve code quality, requirement specifications and design methodologies. Prototype, validate and create critical application solutions for business.
Use the effective tools to find the performance issue and fine tune the application performance. Troubleshoot and support applications in production in case of any issues. Responsible for logging, dash boarding, and efficient monitoring to address issues proactively.
Position allows for partial remote work. Must live within reasonable commuting distance. Reports to company office in Chicago, IL.
Subject to Schwab’s internal approach to workplace flexibility. Starting compensation for this location depends on related experience. Annual bonus opportunity and other eligible earnings are not included in the range(s) above.

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, or related field plus 5 years of progressive, post-bachelor’s related experience. Experience must include some experience in each of the following skills: Microsoft technologies C# and .Net Core; Web-based technologies:
HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6), jQuery, and Angular; SOLID principles, design patterns, and data structures; Design, development, deployment, and maintenance of Web UI and REST APIs; Enhance and fine tune web application performance using Angular Dev-Tool, Chrome Dev-Tool, or Lighthouse; and CI/CD using tools like TFS, Git, Bitbucket or Microsoft Azure.
