Candidate will serve as the lead Systems Administrator supporting the Systems Simulation, Software and Integration (S3I) Directorate support contract. In this role, he will provide technical support for the customer's system test and integration lab, disaster recovery site, and customer production environment.
Provides hand-on support for the IT infrastructure and technical assistance and support as needed to on-site administrators supporting the other two environments. Provides technical support associated with RMF compliance activities.
Bachelors of Science in Computer Engineering, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or information technology related field from an accredited institution and 10+ years of relevant Information Technology experience or 15+ years of relevant IT experience. Must have the following certifications, MCSA or Server+ and Security+. (Higher level security certifications (e.g.
CISA, CISSP, etc.) are acceptable substitutes for Security + but are not required. Familiarity with DoD Risk Management Framework (RMF) information security requirements, standards, and best practices; DIACP compliancy with Retina, DISA STIG and IAVA patch management; working knowledge of network architectures and current networking technologies to include maintenance of Cisco ASA firewall; security requirements and features of networks. Must be able to process and analyze information and trouble calls submitted by a customer (e.g., system administrator, developer, security specialist), make determinations, provide and implement solutions.
Must be able to work with minimal supervision to perform complex technical tasks. Strong writing skills required for preparing documentation and other technical deliverables. Proficient in use of Microsoft WORD and EXCEL. Excellent oral and written English communication skills.

Desired: VMWARE Certified Data Center Virtualization Professional certification
