The Senior Specialist, Marketing Operations & Technology assists in the development and growth of the MarTech stack with a focus on driving the effectiveness of our marketing functions through automation, process improvement, and the effective use of marketing technology to drive revenue-generating campaigns. The Senior Specialist works closely with members of the email and campaign marketing teams, as well as representatives from the business units. The position contributes to the design and implementation of both B2C and B2B omnichannel customer journeys within the Salesforce Marketing Cloud environment. The role also participates in the identification and implementation of new marketing technologies and the creation of scalable marketing processes. This position requires an understanding of cross-channel marketing, marketing technology, and analytics.

  • WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Marketing Technology

  • Work closely with the email and campaign marketing teams, contribute to the design, development, and implementation of omnichannel marketing programs for both B2C and B2B channels.

  • Build and maintain lead-processing workflows in Salesforce Marketing Cloud Account Engagement.

  • Participate in feature assessment, requirements gathering, and process documentation with internal teams to improve lead management and overall execution of marketing campaigns

  • Create Lead Generation Forms using the Sitecore Forms platform.

Marketing Processes

  • Assist in the creation, documentation and maintenance of scalable marketing processes, workflows and standard operating procedures to drive business goals while at the same time maintaining a healthy customer database.

  • Contribute to the creation and upkeep of audience segmentation, lead process workflows and troubleshoot campaigns to uphold industry best practices.

  • Review MarTech stack error reporting in order to assess whether systems are functioning properly.

  • Assist in design, implementation, and interpretation of marketing automation dashboards & reports.

Collaboration & Project Management

  • Take an active role in driving both B2C and B2B customer journey marketing campaigns, including account-based marketing initiatives and lead scoring initiatives.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement best practices, streamline marketing processes, and implement automation solutions.

  • Manage day-to-day project initiation, development of marketing solution for the project, and reporting out on efficacy.

  • ABOUT OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE

  • Education

  • Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent experience) in Marketing, Technology, or related field preferred.

Experience

  • Minimum 5 years' experience working within a marketing automation platform to create customer journeys.

Licenses & Certifications

  • Salesforce Certifications (particularly the Pardot Specialist Certification or a Marketing Cloud certification). (Preferred)

Software/Technical Skills

  • Experience working with marketing automation platforms, such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud Engagement or Salesforce Marketing Cloud Account Engagement.

  • Understanding of cross-platform data flows, data architecture and how to achieve seamless integration between platforms using APIs, ETL tools and other methods.

  • Analytical skills with experience leveraging tools to produce effective marketing metric datasets.

  • Knowledgeable and proficient in Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Salesforce Core and Salesforce Marketing Cloud Account Engagement. (Preferred)

  • Experience modeling and testing API calls to SaaS platforms. (Preferred)

  • Working knowledge of project management tools such as JIRA or Workfront.

  • ADDITIONAL DETAILS FOR THIS ROLE

  • This role will be a hybrid role. Subject to business needs, employees may work remotely up to two days per week. Assigned office days will be determined by managers. #LI-Hybrid

  • The salary (or hiring) range for this position is $85,000 - $100,000 per year.

  • Starting salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, location, and alignment with market data.

  • This position is eligible to participate in the relevant Brother variable pay incentive plan(s). Applicable bonus awards are discretionary and contingent upon 1) achievement of your individual objectives and 2) Brother achieving its corporate and business-level objectives.
