WHERE YOU'LL FIT WITHIN THE TEAM:
The role of the Senior Specialist, Global HR - Contingent Workforce Program performs administrative tasks and acts as a HR program administrator on Bain's Global HR team, ensuring the contingent workforce is managed effectively and is scaling to address future needs of the business. This role will provide a wide range of dedicated HR support, from administrative tasks to strategic work across Global and Regional Services. The role will help drive consistent, effective, and scalable HR support across the ever-growing contingent/non-employee workforce at Bain.
The role will suit an intelligent individual with strong communication skills and an ability to work with a wide range of stakeholders. The successful candidate will be empowered to work cross-functionally to drive process and system improvements.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
Serve as a liaison for new contingent workers; acting as a central and escalation point for HR related activities on behalf of the HR organization
Perform the tasks associated with the onboarding, maintenance and offboarding of contingent workers; processing of Workday transactions such as data and job changes, position management, job profiles, etc.
Liaise regularly with HR business partners, recruiting, finance, internal support teams and hiring managers; develop strong and productive working relationships/high levels of communication with key stakeholders; become known as the 'go-to' person for HR support of the contingent workforce
Advise, influence, and provide thought leadership on the current contingent workforce experience and anticipate future needs for the program
Identify areas of compliance risk and proactively partner with HR, Employee Relations, and Legal teams to drive solutions and policy changes
Leverage industry best practices and user feedback to continually evolve the program, policies, processes, and simplify daily operations
Apply HR knowledge policies and practices effectively to a wide variety of groups with differing needs
Demonstrate flexibility in supporting assigned internal client groups as business and HR priorities change. Other duties assigned as position or circumstances dictate.
Minimum of 3-5 years of professional work experience in HR; demonstrated experience with contingent/non-employee workforce
Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
Demonstrated ability to communicate and collaborate with senior members of an organization
Strong customer service focus
Ability to deal with highly confidential information in a professional/mature manner
Strong analytic capabilities to compile, synthesize, and evaluate data to identify trends/insights
Experience working in a fast-paced environment and successfully managing competing demands
Very strong organization skills and attention to detail
Ability to self-motivate and pro-actively contribute to the team's success
Skilled in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
