Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Overall responsibility for the data integration/ingestion solution and all data integration/ingestion deliverables including data flow diagrams and source system inventory.
Designing ETL/ELT solution, leading system and integration testing and defining standards and architecture toolkits.
Accountable to the solution architect for the quality of all data integration deliverables.
Works collaboratively with various platforms and competencies that promote the purpose of Enterprise Integration and influence their roadmaps to address current and emerging information of Data Integration/Ingestion capabilities.
Works to define the requirements, principles and models that guide decisions in alignment with strategic IT and enterprise goals.
6 to 10 years of enterprise data integration experience with high performance and scalability requirements.
2 + years relevant work experience utilizing AWS cloud deployment & integration, data engineering.
2 + years of working experience utilizing Python or Apache Spark.
Understanding of DevOps / DevSecOps processes and related tools including, but not limited to Kubernetes, Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible, Git / Bitbucket, Jenkins, etc.
Lead by example
Integration Experience with web services REST/SOAP.
Understanding with application and infrastructure management and monitoring tools.
Ability to influence others and drive cross-functional planning, collaboration and coordinate execution of highly complex technology driven initiatives.
Ability to work with distributed/remote teams.
Education: B.S. or M.S. in IT, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
Nice to Have:
Experience with Kubernetes, Mesos, Docker, EKS.
Experience with Databricks.
Experience in Agile development methodologies and release management techniques.
Creative, innovative, self-motivated, applies problem-solving skills (thinks outside of the box) and systems thinking skills.
Ability to lead a development and platform team of diverse skill sets to include cloud, data, application, and integration in high pressure environment.
Demonstrated ability to produce high quality technical documentation.
