The Senior Sourcing Analyst will be responsible for sourcing, contract negotiation, contract lifecycle management, supplier performance reviews, and category analysis in support of CenturyLink's acquisition of goods and services for IT Procurement.
Negotiates / re-negotiates new and existing agreements or statements of work, conduct RFI's and RFP's.
Engages with stakeholders to gather contract requirements, RFI/RFP, contract execution and contract lifecycle management.
Provides sourcing guidance to suppliers and internal customers.
Prepares scope documents, communication plans, and contract awards.
Actively partners with legal teams and business unit stakeholders to develop and execute negotiation strategies that include optimal targets for pricing, service, and quality.
Continually identifies and implements new opportunities for cost savings, cost avoidance and proactively tracks these objectives.
Implements and measures cost savings, reduction and avoidance programs and strategies. Continually refines these programs to deliver optimal results for the company.
Responsible for vendor / supplier management. Conducts supplier rationalization and segmentation initiatives. Proactively reviews supplier performance and adherence to contractual terms. Leads business reviews and delivers resolution on difficult issues through effective negotiation tactics.
Manages IT Software vendor agreements and relationships.
Delivers against corporate initiatives related to cost reduction, cost avoidance, supplier rationalization and continually benchmarks purchasing and process practices to effectively translate the analysis into action.
Conduct negotiations for IT-related agreements and projects
Collaborate across organizations and management tiers to ensure objectives are met.
Prioritize deliverables and develop requirements with end users.
Analyze and mitigate business risk
Facilitate RFP for IT-related goods and/or services including supplier selection, scoring and award.
Possess 4+ years of relevant procurement experience or other relevant contract management / negotiation experience, preferably in IT.
Process management and documentation skills.
Solid computer application knowledge (Microsoft Office)
Knowledge of maintenance, support and operations associated with technology platforms preferred.
Proven ability to communicate, influence and build partnerships with stakeholders at all levels within the IT organization.
Experience with RFP/ RFx process preferred
Telecom or Technology/IT experience preferred
CPM / CSPM Certification is a plus
Must be well organized, adaptable, and a natural self-starter with a willingness to learn and embrace new methodologies, while possessing excellent communication, influencing and interpersonal skills.

Travel up to 10%.
