What you'll do on a typical day:

  • Provide value propositions by identifying opportunities through rigorous data collection and analysis; craft marketable solutions for clients

  • Identify, propose and deliver key initiatives that improve the client's supply chain operations and/or drive efficiency into the team's internal processes

  • Develop and deliver productivity savings and engineered solutions analytics for the account

  • Contribute to the standards around which others will operate

What you need to succeed at XPO:

At a minimum, you'll need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or other technical and/or analytical discipline

  • 5 years of experience in one or more of these key functional areas: supply chain management, logistics, decision support systems/technology, transportation management, distribution or procurement functional responsibilities

  • Proven project management skills

  • Experience preparing and delivering presentations

  • Demonstrated ability to complete various analyses, data mining and simulations using Microsoft BI, Access and Excel to identify and scope opportunities within the customer's supply chain

  • Solid ability to collect and analyze data for modeling, network optimization and/or supply chain redesign purposes

It'd be great if you also have:

  • Experience with ILOG, Supply Chain Guru or data modeling

  • Lean manufacturing experience

What you'll do on a typical day: * Support leadership by providing training to team members across several departments on Standard Work Instructions (SWIs) and Powered Industrial Truck Certifications * Play an active role in the development and implementation of new employee introductory program * Participate on project teams as an operations subject matter expert * Communicate with and give feedback to process owners and management What you need to succeed at XPO: At a minimum, you'll need: * Bachelor's degree, or equivalent military or work experience * Proficiency with Microsoft Office * Knowledge of the logistics industry It'd be great if you also have: * 2 years of training/coaching experience * Powered Industrial Truck Certification and material handling equipment experience * Broad knowledge of operations and its relationship to field operations * Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to present clean, organized and thorough information and data appropriate for intended audience * Excellent leadership and management skills; ability to work independently or in a team environment; great collaboration skills with the ability to get along with diverse personalities * Strong analytical skills, including experience using business intelligence tools * Solid problem-solving and analytical skills Be part of something big.
