Job Description:

This role is an IT solution architectural lead and key advisor among a team of fellow architects, development leads, and project leads.

The Senior Solutions Architect will consult with CVS Health Technology Leaders and drives various solution creation and deliverables while helping to establish standards and ensuring that our published standards are well shared and followed.

The Senior Solutions Architect will also be involved and informed regarding various initiatives including cost savings, capital management, annual planning, resource-planning and process improvement.

Specific responsibilities include:

  • Composing architectural recommendations and solution design artifacts that follow CVS enterprise format and guidelines

  • Facilitating and participating in meetings and communications surrounding solution design, estimating, development, gathering metrics, quality assurance, troubleshooting, implementation, and outcome study activities

Required Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in solutions architect
  • 5+ years of experience leading technical projects preferably working with Java 8; Spring; REST Client/ SOAP UI, Maria DB; Oracle; XML; JSON

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in healthcare technology

  • Experience with the following tools:

  • TypeScripts 2.3+; Bootstrap 4; NPM (Node Package Manager); Jenkins; Test Data Driven; Selenium; TsLint; Eclipse, Visual Studio Code; GitLab; TFS;

  • JPA; Maven; Jenkins; PMD, Sonar cube, Sonar lint; Selenium; Eclipse; GitLab; Sl4j; Splunk; TFS; Chrome based Plugin, Postman; YourKit; JConsole; Splunk; Junit; Jmeter; IE 11, Chrome v50+; Pivotal Cloud Foundry Informatica; Control m (outside PCF); MFT

Education

  • Bachelor's degree with IT focus is required
