Senior Solutions Architect

Join our team as a Senior Solutions Architect at Aretum, a leading technology company. As a Senior Solution Architect, you will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable and effective solutions for our clients. Aretum is dedicated to providing cutting-edge technology solutions that meet the unique needs of our clients in various industries.

In this role, you will collaborate with clients and internal teams to gather requirements, define solution architecture, and design complex systems. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful delivery and implementation of solutions. Additionally, you will provide technical guidance, mentorship, and support to development teams throughout the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Work with the Chief Strategy Officer, Chief Technology Officer, or the Chief Executive Officer to identify multiple technical proposals and projects running in parallel related to such technologies as Application development, digital transformation, web development, mobile app development, AI/ML, microservices, cloud technologies like AWS, Google Cloud and Azure, development of Develops tools, CI/CD pipelines, and agile software development
• Identify and articulate a vision for each of these proposals and projects by doing brainstorming sessions, identifying a technical design, creating documentation, diagrams, and presentations.
• Review ongoing engineering efforts to ensure they are aligned with best practices
• Help implement AWS, Google, and Azure cloud-based solutions
• Support internal teams in architecture-related tasks, software design tasks, best practices, and prototyping
• Support the CTO organization in obtaining industry certifications for the company

Requirements

• 15+ years of IT experience focused on applications
• 10+ years’ experience with Software application development
• 10+ years’ experience with open-source application development stacks
• 10+ years’ experience with development on either Python or Java
• 5+ years of experience writing and reviewing sections of proposals for Federal Government bids
• 3+ years’ experience with emerging technologies
• 5+ years’ experience with the Amazon Web Services platform
• 5+ years’ experience with networking and server management
• 2+ years in implementing AI, Machine learning or Deep learning projects
• Hands-on agile development experience with either Scrum or Scaled Agile
• Experience in designing and building microservices-based solutions
• Ability to work with multiple streams of technical work and do context-switching with ease
• Ability to work with junior team members to mentor them
• Experience with implementing CI/CD solutions for automated deployments
• Ability to use a wide variety of open-source technologies and tools.
• Experience in marketing products and doing pre-sales calls
• Ability to work independently and direct other staff
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Excellent documentation skills

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

• Google Cloud Platform Experience
• Microsoft Azure Experience
• ITIL V3 / V4
