Position Summary:
The Senior Solution Architect position is a key role within our Technology Team. This role proactively and comprehensively partners with clients, translating business needs into solutions that leverage the suite of Salesforce Marketing Products. This role will provide the necessary client and team leadership to ensure delivery excellence and best-in-class solutions that drive outcomes and innovation for our clients. The ideal candidate would have an agency/consultancy background and be known to thrive in a collaborative team environment.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Ability to understand complex data models and enterprise architectures and articulate what data is needed to support the business objectives, how it should be organized and how it can best be integrated with Salesforce platforms.
Lead clients through discovery & requirement gathering, focusing on building relationships and inspiring adoption & innovation
Collaborate with stakeholders to translate epics, features, and user stories that reflect client and user requirements into a client's technology
solution roadmap
Create and present solution documentation, keeping both internal and external stakeholders informed and engaged
Document requirements, design architecture diagrams, perform platform configuration, test, document, implement and train on Salesforce Marketing Cloud
Partner with clients on project-based work as a Salesforce Marketing Cloud subject matter expert, executing thoughtfully through delivery and providing recommendations for platform adoption and optimizations.
Leads new business pursuits related to Salesforce, providing oversight to scope, resources and delivery plan.
Cloud implementations and related projects
Provide leadership around and adhere to Email, Web, Push and SMS channel best practices
Create, edit and manipulate medium to complex SQL and AMPScript
Be able to edit existing HTML, CSS, JSON and SSJS
Build audiences and segments using complex logic across multiple data sets
Develop and adhere to rigorous QA process
Proactively present and deploy optimization activities to clients and internal teams
Partner with Marketing Automation Managers on project tasks, guiding their work and assisting with knowledge transfer and training
Lead ongoing practice knowledge sharing, bringing forth ideas and solutions for innovative positioning and offerings as it relates to client support
Partner with analytics to identify and access data source systems for analysis and reporting
Participate in content development and thought leadership to support growth within our Salesforce practice
Required Qualifications:
5+ years of relevant Salesforce Marketing Cloud experience
Bachelors degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Management, Computer Science, Information Technology, etc. or equivalent work experience
Salesforce Marketing Cloud Email Specialist certified
Salesforce Marketing Cloud Admin and Salesforce Marketing Cloud Consultant certifications preferred
Coding capabilities across the following:
Ampscript.
SQL
JSON
HTML, CSS, SSJS experience considered a plus
Expertise in Salesforce Marketing Cloud, with a strong understanding of capabilities across Data Cloud, Salesforce CRM, Marketing Cloud Personalization and Marketing Cloud Intelligence preferred
Experience leading implementations in a client-facing role and leading teams through agile delivery by breaking work into epics and user stories, and aligning to agile sprint plans
Understanding of cross-channel marketing best practices
Experience scoping medium-large complexity Salesforce projects
Deep understanding of data privacy and protection practices (CAN-SPAM, CASL, EU Privacy Directive, DPR, blacklisting, etc.)
Attention to detail and an eye for quality
Salary Range: At the time of this posting the range for this position is $100k -$210k nationally. Final compensation could vary widely depending on local markets and the ideal hires skills and experience.
