Senior Software Test Engineer

Peraton is seeking a highly qualified Senior Software Test Engineer in support to the upcoming LONG-RANGE ENTERPRISE INTELLIGENCE, SURVEILLANCE, AND RECONNAISSANCE ACTIVITY (LEIA) in Honolulu, HI. As part of a highly talented, motivated, team, you will support a fast-paced program delivering a broad spectrum of Command, Control, Communications, Computer, Cyber Defense, Combat Systems, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (C6ISR) capabilities to support SOCPAC missions and it's AORs. POSITION IS CONTINGENT ON CONTRACT AWARD Duties and responsibilities include: As a Senior Software Test Engineer you will lead the automated testing of software for the entire LEIA enterprise following the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe). Develop and maintain suite of tests to ensure continuous integration and delivery.

• Identify key areas for testing and prioritize testing activities based on risk and impact.

• Design comprehensive test plans and strategies that align with the development pipeline.

• Optimize test suite to avoid overlapping controls.

• Implement automated tests, including unit, integration, functional, regression, and performance tests.

• Ensure that tests are run as part of the build and CI/CD process and that results are promptly available to the team.

• Work closely with developers and business analysts to understand requirements and acceptance criteria.

• Collaborate on identifying defects and issues early in the development cycle. Including working with team to ensure testing is considered during formative work.

• Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.

• Stay up-to-date with the latest testing tools, methodologies, and best practices.

• Track, report, and manage defects using appropriate tools.

• Verify defect fixes and conduct regression testing to ensure resolved issues do not reoccur.

• Document test cases, test procedures, and test results.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience as a test engineer using techniques for debugging, testing, releasing, and maintaining test software architectures

• Minimum of 8 years with BS/BA; Minimum of 6 years with MS/MA; Minimum of 3 years with PhD, Additional Experience may be considered in lieu of a higher education

• Active TS/SCI Security clearance

• Extensive experience in software development utilizing C# .NET, Vuejs (React) frameworks.

• Experience in all phases of software development, and Agile, Scrum methodologies

• 5-7 years of experience working with .NET technologies (C# .NET).

• 5-7+ years of experience working with SQL Server.

• 5+ with open-source, front-end technologies (Vuejs, React or Angular).

• 5-7+ years of experience working with AWS cloud technologies

• Ability to perform troubleshooting, analysis, and design of solutions

Target Salary Range

$86,000 - $138,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
