Due to growth, we are looking for a Senior Sales Engineer to focus on closing new business and driving expansions in existing enterprise accounts for our Midwest territory. If you are a motivated team player who is maniacally focused on execution and delivering results in a customer-facing capacity with a solid application development background in Java / C# or have a test Automation background using appium or selenium, keep reading!

*In this role, you will be based from home but need to be willing to travel up to 50% of the time

What You Will Be Doing

  • Build strong technical relationships with customer stakeholders at all levels and become their trusted advisor

  • Drive detailed discovery sessions mapping out each customers unique processes and requirements

  • Plan and execute onsite technical workshops including custom demos and Q&A sessions

  • Plan and execute Proof of Concept engagements (onsite + remote)

  • Participate in creating value-driven business cases for senior-level decision makers

  • Represent the company in webinars, industry events, trade shows, and user groups

  • Respond to technical portions of RFIs and RFPs
    What You Need for this Position

4+ years of experience and advanced knowledge of:

  • Sales / Pre-sales Engineering

  • Software development and testing lifecycle, including Agile and DevOps methodologies

  • Mobile application development (Java or C#)

  • Development tools: Profilers, Debuggers, IDEs (Visual Studio, Eclipse)

  • Code version control systems: Git, Github, SVN, Subversion, Mercurial

  • Test automation frameworks: Selenium, Appium, Calabash, HP QTP/UFT

  • Continuous Integration (CI) tools: Jenkins, Bamboo, TeamCity, MS TFS

  • Performance testing tools: HP LoadRunner, JMeter, BlazeMeter

  • Networking and security protocols: TCP/IP, HTTP, SSL, VPNs, SSO, firewalls
