VIEW JOBS10/19/2021 12:00:00 AM2022-01-17T00:00
Us in a nutshell

Mightier is a proven program that helps children (ages 6 - 12) who struggle with their emotions. This includes kids who have a tough time with tantrums, anger/aggression, irritability, feelings of frustration, anxiety, or even a diagnosis like ADHD, ODD and Autism Spectrum Disorder. Our program was developed by clinicians from Boston Children’s Hospital and Harvard Medical School and is designed to create a fun and engaging way for kids to practice emotional regulation through play….and become Mightier!

Mightier works to build better emotional regulation(management) in children over time through practice and increasing challenges playing games. Kids wear a heart rate monitor while they play, which allows them to see their emotions and connect with them directly. As they play, kids react to their heart rate. As their heart rates go up, the Mightier game gets harder to play and they practice how to bring their heart rate down (take a pause) in order to earn rewards in the games. Over time and continuous practice, the cool downs (“pauses”) will become automatic even when your child faces real world challenges.

Mightier has served over 40,000 families and parents report positive results in just 3 months..
