Position Summary

Work you'll do
As a Senior .NET Developer your responsibilities include, but not limited to, participating in the entire software development life cycle, and debugging and configuring Web and Windows applications. The position requires hands on coding and reviewing other team members' work. Individual should be able to work with business leads in defining the requirements and developing the solution.
Additional responsibilities include:
Be a strong contributor to the team with problem solving skills.
Highly proficient in .NET application development and, developing and debugging T-SQL.
Utilizes established development tools, guidelines, and conventions to build enterprise grade software
Work independently within a team of developers to deliver end-to-end web or windows-based solutions for moderate to complex projects.
Work alongside peers to perform code reviews and build unit tests to maintain code coverage.
Create technical specifications, test plans and document best practices.
Must have experience with one or more Git based source control systems
Supervise and mentor junior developers on the team.
Strong understanding of CI/CD principles.
The Team
Deloitte Tax LLP's Tax Transformation Office (TTO) is responsible for the design, development, and deployment of innovative, enterprise technology, tools, and standard processes to support the delivery of tax services. The TTO team focuses on enhancing Deloitte Tax LLP's ability to deliver comprehensive, value-added, and efficient tax services to our clients. It is a dynamic team with professionals of varying backgrounds from tax technical, technology development, change management, Six Sigma, and project management. The team consults and executes on a wide range of initiatives involving process and tool development and implementation including training development, engagement management, tool design, and implementation.
Qualifications
Required:
Ability to perform job responsibilities within a hybrid work model that requires US Tax professionals to co-locate in person 2-3 days per week
3+ years of experience in C# and .NET development (both Web and Windows application development)
Bachelor's Degree
Ability to travel up to 25%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve
One of the following active accreditations obtained, in process, or willing able to obtain:
Licensed CPA in state of practice/primary office if eligible to sit for the CPA

Experience with agile development methodologies and version control concepts.
Ability to understand business problem(s) being addressed by the project.
Experience in UiPath, Alteryx, Power Query, Power BI, Power Automate will be a plus.
Experience with front end development tools and technologies will be a plus
Experience in SQL and Microsoft SQL Server.
Experience with Web API, CICD principles and Unit test frameworks (NUnit, MSTest, or others)
The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $84,980 to $193,440.
You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
