Molecula is looking Senior Software Engineers (SWE) with at least 7 years of work experience FeatureBase core infrastructure engineering team. With your expertise in software engineering, distributed systems, software infrastructure, cloud technologies, storage, data stores, data pipelines, and/or databases, you will help us build the next generation data architecture that will allow our users to push the boundaries on how data is accessed today. You will provide technical leadership across cross functional software, infrastructure, data, security, and product teams to ensure we deliver the most powerful and accessible feature store ever.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Build our platforms, systems and infrastructure using your excellent background in distributed systems and large scale data systems.

  • Define and drive the technical strategy, architecture, and road map to achieve our business goals alongside Product Management.

  • Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance software solutions.

  • Mentor and train other team members on design techniques and coding standards, and to cultivate innovation and collaboration across multiple teams.

  • Manage individual projects priorities, deadlines, and deliverables.

  • Participate in on-call duties on a rotational bases as part of the support engineering work.

Job Qualifications:

  • Minimum Qualifications

  • 7+ years of relevant work experience as a Software Engineer or closely related field.

  • 2+ years of relevant work experience with Go or other concurrent programming languages - multithreaded or coroutine based.

  • Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree, Master's degree, or PhD in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field.

  • Systematic problem-solving approach, coupled with strong communication skills and a sense of ownership and drive.

  • Experience designing, analyzing, building, and troubleshooting large-scale distributed systems.

  • Experience with database internals, database language theories, database design, SQL, and database programming.

  • Experience with perf, eBPF, and other Linux performance/observability tooling.

  • Experience with cloud infrastructure and platforms GCP, AWS, PCF or Kubernetes.

  • Experience with message queue and streaming platforms(AMQP) such as Apache Kafka, Pulsar, RabbitMQ.

  • Experience with different databases SQL vs NoSQL, OLTP vs OLAP.

  • Knowledge of different database engine architecture and indexing structures such as LSM, bitmap, B/B+ tree.

In 2016, the site poured its seven millionth ounce of gold, 20 years into its mine life. The initial Gilmore Expansion Project is expected to extend mine life to 2030. Fort Knox is not a camp mine Job Description Responsible for carrying out a full range of engineering functions including, but not limited to: development of an accurate mineral model, generation of mineable pit designs, analyzing equipment needs, managing multiple projects, creation of alternative mine plans, and evaluation of various operational scenarios with the goal of maximizing revenue. Must show the ability and willingness to supervise and develop other department personnel. Will have direct involvement and communication with staff from all departments. Job Responsibilities * Develop accurate mineral model(s) for use in planning and reserve/resource calculations. * Design ultimate pits and intermediate phases based on mineral model and constraints such as mining limitations, slope design criteria, topography, and facility location. * Use pit design along with knowledge of mineral model and production constraints to generate a long-range plan that accurately predicts mining progress by period. * Review the preparation of short-term mine plans and schedules and make recommendations on the integration of those plans with the long-term and LOM plans. * Evaluate alternative designs and mine plans based on various operational scenarios with the goal of maximizing productivity and revenue. * Conduct equipment studies to verify that planned production goals can be met. * Make recommendations for opportunities that maximize efficiency and productivity of the entire operation. * Prepare resource/reserve estimations and annual technical report. * Generate mine planning and project management monthly summaries for use in company reporting. * Provide support, as needed, to other departments on monthly reporting. * Review designs of dumps, access roads, ramps, and mine site facilities. * Project management duties, including, but not limited to: contract review, bid award, cost estimation, schedule tracking, and reporting. * Supervise and train other department personnel to perform duties listed above. * Maintain accurate records and files. * Consistent exercise of discretion and judgment in job performance. * Punctuality and regular attendance is required. * Meet or exceed established performance expectations set by management. * Compliance with all company policies and procedures including, but not limited to, safety, confidentiality, and environmental policies. * Possession of a valid driver's license issued by the state. * Work safely in all areas and identify potential safety hazards and work with management to correct them. * Work without significant risk of harm to self and others. * Perform other duties as required. Education and Experience * Employee must have sufficient education to read and write instructions, perform simple mathematical calculations, and keep records. * Bachelor of Science degree in mining engineering or equivalent work experience preferred. * Minimum of five years of experience in a mining environment preferred. * Knowledge of engineering techniques as they apply to pit design, mine planning, equipment analysis, and project management. * Thorough understanding of open-pit mining operations as well as a general understanding of milling operations and mine maintenance. * Thorough working knowledge and skill using a P.C. utilizing word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation programs. Experience with MineSight and AutoCAD preferred. * Experience in supervising personnel is preferred. * Have a strong commitment to safe working practices. * Possess good interpersonal skills. * Strong verbal, written, analytical and persuasive skills and the ability to interact effectively with all levels of employees and management. * Strong administrative and organizational skills desired. * Must be a self-starter with the ability to work with others in a team environment. * May work holidays, shift work, and weekends as required.
