Come join the Identity Authentication Team as a Mobile Senior Software Engineer. You'll be part of a team developing highly secure, re-useable, and performant iOS/Android authentication SDK using the latest technologies on the respective platform and protocols including OAuth2, FIDO, REST, and GraphQL. Our UI and services are critical for Intuit and used by millions of customers using various Intuit products, including TurboTax Online, QuickBooks Online and Mint. The Identity Platform team is aiming to be an industry leading authentication provider for user's financial data. We do this using advanced techniques in identity proofing, threat detection and fraud prevention. You will help us build beautiful interfaces that protect our users accounts while also making it easy for them to access what they need, when they need it.

The ideal candidate is a full stack developer who is familiar with each layer but with focus in iOS/Android Application development. The engineer should have genuine interest in all software technology and will be directly responsible for design, development, testing, maintenance, and documentation of high-quality software components.


  • 5+ years of experience building world class mobile application for iOS and Android ecosystem; Understand Google and Apple's design principles and interface guidelines.

  • Expertise with unit testing & integration test for mobile and web applications.

  • Experience with delivering Libraries and SDK for iOS and Android ecosystem.

  • Designing/developing mobile apps, prototypes, or proofs of concepts (POC's)

  • Roughly 75% hands-on coding

  • Resolve defects/bugs during QA testing, pre-production, production, and post-release patches

  • Work cross-functionally with various Intuit teams: product management, QA/QE, various product lines, or business units to drive forward results

  • Contribute to the design and architecture of the project

  • Act in a technical leadership capacity: Mentoring junior engineers, new team members, and applying technical expertise to challenging programming and design problems

  • Experience with Agile Development, SCRUM, or Extreme Programming methodologies

  • Strong educational background with BS / MS in Computer Science or related area.

  • Experience with DevOps

  • Experience with Cloud technologies (AWS).


  • BS/MS in computer science or equivalent work experience.

  • 5+ years' experience developing mobile applications.

  • Solid grasp of software engineering fundamentals and their practical application.

  • Strong experience with any of the following languages: Java, Kotlin, Objective C, Swift

  • Experience with the entire Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

  • Solid communication skills: Demonstrated ability to explain complex technical issues to both technical and non-technical audiences.

  • Understanding of the Software design/architecture process.

  • Experience with unit testing & Test Driven Development (TDD).

  • Demonstrate a passion for developing well architected, elegant, iOS/Android apps running on iPhones and Android devices.

  • Deliver across the entire app life cycle - concept, design, build, test, deploy and support.

  • Work independently on complex software engineering assignments.

  • Hands-on with troubleshooting and drive root-cause analysis of incidents in both PROD and pre-PROD environments.

  • Gather functional requirements, developing technical specifications, and project & test planning.

  • Work cross-functionally with various Intuit teams including: product management, various product lines, and/or business units to drive forward results.

Job Summary The Senior Software Engineer will provide software development support from concept through development and integration to deployment of a large complex system. The individual will provide software process management and control throughout the coding portion of the software development process.
