Within Azure Data, the big data analytics team provides a range of products that enable data engineers and data scientists to extract intelligence from all data - structured, semi-structured, and unstructured. We build the Data Engineering, Data Science, and Data Integration pillars of Microsoft Fabric.
We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our rapidly growing global team - Fabric SQL Data Warehouse team. Required/Minimum Qualifications
o OR equivalent experience.

Preferred/Additional Qualifications
o OR Master's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 6+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python
o OR equivalent experience.
Experience with complex problem solving, systems level design, coding, and debugging, proficiency with data structures and algorithms.
Track record of excellence in software engineering, including clean, modular design, coding, code reviews, testing, and devops.
Experience with using big data, streaming, analytics, natural language processing (NLP), large language models (LLMs), Machine Learning (ML) (e.g., Spark, SQL, Power BI).
Startup mentality to move and iterate rapidly, work across disciplines, effective communication and collaboration, growth mindset and focus on customers
Software Engineering IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $117,200 - $229,200 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $153,600 - $250,200 per year.
