We are looking for a full-time Senior AOSP/Linux Profiling and Performance Developer for low-to-mid level software on the Automotive OEM Platforms Team at our location in Chandler, AZ. May also perform as Lead Software Engineer for a multitude of projects or sub projects. If you are interested in working on Automotive Infotainment, Automotive Entertainment Systems, In-Vehicle Infotainment systems, Cameras, Clusters and/or other vehicle systems, this is the position for you!Other essential functions include:Collaborates and adds value through participation in peer code reviews, providing comments and suggestions Performs technical root cause analysis and outlines corrective action for given problems Works in both an agile and waterfall software development environments
Serve as a mentor to less experienced software engineers Estimate level of effort, evaluate new options of similar technology, offer suggestions to improve processes, and provide comments on some electrical design aspects

Qualified candidates will possess a Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Math or Physics or a technical field (such as CIS or IT) from a four-year college or university AND a minimum of five (5) years relevant experience OR an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience with a 3.0 cumulative GPA or higher. Other requirements include:Demonstrates proficiency with designing well-architected software systems and modules that support new technology or improve capability/performance of existing functionality Must demonstrate proficiency and possess experience necessary to develop moderately complex software in C and C Demonstrate ability to serve as a lead software engineer for a complex software project Demonstrated capability to offer peer technical assessments in areas of expertise, new technologies and software designs Must possess relevant education and/or experience in software design, development and maintenance, as required for the successful performance of the essential functions of the position
Demonstrates proficient knowledge and utilization of engineering tools necessary for successful performance of the essential functions of this job description
