As a Senior Software Engineer in Test on the Marketing Campaigns team, you'll work arm in arm with a passionate group of people, in your team and across the organization, that strives to deliver a reliable and amazing experience to our customers every day. You'll be responsible for collaborating with developers to come up with and implement testing strategies to ensure we keep our quality bar high while allowing us to move faster and deliver the value our customers expect.
Our Denver office is home to our second generation product -- Marketing Campaigns, and hub for our Technical Operations and Customer Lifecycle engineering teams.
What You'll Do

Be the quality advocate who drives our risk-based testing strategy
Contribute to QA thought leadership at SendGrid
Continuously contribute to the quality of our releases by injecting quality concepts in every phase of the sprint lifecycle, from planning to deployment
Collaborate with members of your team to understand planned implementations and improve build pipelines
Develop test strategy for each of the services your team owns
Write detailed and high-quality test cases around story implementation
Develop tooling to support test automation and code deployments
Write automated tests for services
Plan and develop regression test sets
Evaluate and analyze new technology and software for testability, impact, and viability
Our stack includes: ReactJS with Redux, npm/yarn, Github, Jira, Chef, BuildKite, Docker, CypressIO, Golang, AWS (DynamoDB, Lambda, EC2, Kinesis, SQS, S3)
Typically, 3-5 years of experience testing microservices
Expert in Quality Assurance testing techniques
Experience in implementing CI/CD workflows
Knowledge of system monitoring best practices
Ability to drive risk-based testing and release execution (let's face it, risk drives most all of your actions)
You have an affinity for Agile software development and have worked on an Agile team
