As a Senior Software Engineer in Test, you join a cross functional agile team responsible for building high quality software used by millions of people every day.

Your Role

  • Responsible for driving quality, reliability and operability into our software.

  • Integral member of cross-functional development teams that are tasked with building quality into the software from the beginning and throughout DevOps processes.

  • Define and implement test strategies, acting as a quality advocate for the product & teams (Engineering and Operations).

  • Participate in the software design and development process as a member on cross-functional product development teams, with a focus on testability, security and operability.

  • Work with Engineering and Operations stakeholders to understand operational and deployment challenges, analyze gaps and build collaborative solutions.

  • Help architect, design and build CI/CD processes and software tools to improve quality and engineering productivity.

  • Lead by example in developing test automation frameworks and test cases in all test layers.

Your Experience

  • 8+ years experience in Software Engineering roles testing internet & web technologies.

  • 5+ years experience testing in a SaaS environment.

  • Experience with cross-browser UI testing methodologies and tools, particularly Cypress.

  • Proficient in Python and JavaScript as well as linux shell tools, with a proven ability to learn new programming skills.

  • Experience with CI/CD pipeline architectures, preferably Jenkins, Git and DevOps best practices.

  • Experience with Puppet, Hieradata, or Docker a plus.
