TouchNet, a Global Payments Company, located in Lenexa, KS is seeking a Sr. Software Engineer to join our ERP integrations team. In this role you will be responsible for ongoing enhancements, configuration, maintenance, and integration development for our ERP systems. Ideal candidates will be a subject matter expert with PeopleSoft, Colleague, Workday, or a SaaS based ERP solution with a willingness to learn new ERPs and develop integration solutions for them.
Responsibilities:
Participate in all phases of the software development life cycle utilizing Agile Scrum methodology in the creation of new software products
Collaborate with business analysts, product managers and other development engineers in the design and evolution of software solutions that support any and all types of financial transactions in higher education
Adhere to the highest standards to insure the security and reliability of our applications
PCI DSS-compliant development and code review
Ability to interact with key customers during development, provide Tier III level support in problem resolution, and receive product feedback from customers at our annual user conference
Limited on-call work hours; work-life balance is a priority at TouchNet
Minimum Qualifications for All Developers:
5+ years doing ERP administration and integration development for PeopleSoft, Colleague, Workday, or another SaaS based ERP
Strong object-oriented programming skills
Experience building Java web services using Spring
Familiar with building and consuming APIs (REST, SOAP, etc) and testing via Postman other similar tools
Ability to work well within a team while also self-managing independent tasks
Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
BS/BA degree (Computer Science, Engineering, Math, Business/CIS or related) or relevant experience in lieu of a degree may be considered
Additional Qualifications for PeopleSoft Developers:
Familiar with installing, configuring, operating and maintaining PeopleSoft Campus and PeopleSoft Finance
Experience doing PeopleSoft development, including creating and troubleshooting complex custom modules
Hands-on experience with PeopleTools for Pages, Components, Records, and other PeopleSoft Objects to build and troubleshoot custom code
Proficient with Component Interfaces and App Packages
Skilled at using SQL to create complex queries
Experience with Integration Broker, Web Services, and Jolt Application Server
Additional Qualifications for Colleague Developers:
Familiar with installing, configuring, operating and maintaining on-prem Colleague systems
Experience doing Colleague Studio development, including creating and troubleshooting complex modules
Experience with managing and monitoring Colleague and integration infrastructure, resolving issues as needed to ensure system availability
Able to identify and correct bad data in MSSQL, MYSQL and Unidata databases
Prior experience with Colleague Modules, Self-Service, SA Valet, Ethos, Colleague Core, Student Finance, General Ledger, Accounts Receivable, DMI
Capable of maintaining test data in internal environments, including annual setup of fiscal year data.
Additional Qualifications for Workday Developers:
Familiar with any Workday solution (bonus points for Workday Student)
Experience with Workday tenant configuration, system upgrades, releases, annual processes, integration concepts (including RaaS reports, Workday Query Language, Workday permissions models)
Capable of creating and maintaining test data in Workday Student
Able to review release notes to assess new features for impacts to business continuity
Additional Qualifications for SaaS based ERP Developers:
Familiar with installing, configuring, operating, maintaining an ERP system
Capable of maintaining test data in an ERP system

Prior experience working for or with higher education institutions
